Up, up, and away… from CBS!

The CW can finally say they're the home of FOUR superhero shows now that Supergirl has officially switched channels for Season Two!

We'd heard rumors that America's most watched network was thinking about throwing away their only drama that actually attracted a younger demographic… but we didn't think they were ever going to go through with it.

Well, we were proven wrong on Thursday when it was announced that Melissa Benoist will be joining the rest of Greg Berlanti's super lineup this Fall!

While this may seem like a shock to some fans, it's actually great news because not only does this ensures more crossovers with The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow, but it will also give the cast and crew more creative leeway!

However, we're also hearing Calista Flockhart is hesitant about staying on, seeing as production will be moving from El Lay to Vancouver… but we guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Are U super stoked about Supergirl's new home??

Though sources close to the series have said that the network would love for Supergirl to return for a second season, they may not be able to make it work.

Melissa Benoist & Husband Blake Jenner Are A Sweetly Subtle Couple At The Golden Globes

<a href=

From afar it seems too simple, but from up close Melissa Benoist's strapless gown has the cutest details!

The Supergirl actress arrived at the Golden Globes with her husband Blake Jenner on Sunday in LA, looking sweet and sunny.

Her pale pink Monique Lhuillier dress featured a subtle floral print with tiny birds flitting hither and thither — so adorable!

Some sexiness was also added via the slit along her leg, but it was as subtle as her gown's pattern.

Oh! Of course we can't forget about her husband Blake, who looked very handsome indeed.

Supergirl Takes Flight With A Full-Season Order! PLUS What Other Freshman '15 Shows Have Already Been Renewed — Or Cancelled??

What a strange year for network television.

While more and more people are cutting the cord and switching to streaming services for their television needs, the major networks are still doing their best to adapt to competitors like Netflix and Hulu.

Ratings are at an all-time low for FOX, NBC, CBS, and ABC, so the big four are being extra careful about which of their freshman series get renewed, cancelled, or even just picked up for a full first season.

In fact, it was announced on Monday that Melissa Benoist's Supergirl was picked up for a full 20-episode debut year, making it the ninth show to get its back nine — or seven, in this case.

And while a handful of other shows have gotten episode orders, only two have been cancelled so far — and only ONE has gotten a second season!

What's the status of YOUR fave new show??

Up, up, and away go the ratings!

Supergirl has had an uphill battle ever since it was announced as part of CBS's Fall TV lineup, but it seems like superpowering through all of that adversity paid off.

That's because Melissa Benoist & Co.'s premiere on Monday just came in as the season's highest rated new series!

The DC Comics drama faced a lot of backlash — both from people claiming it was too feminist and not feminist enough — but thanks to a lead in from The Big Bang Theory, hopefully the nearly 13 million viewers who tuned are proof that a female-driven superhero project can work.

Make sure to catch Supergirl starring Melissa, Chyler Leigh, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, & Calista Flockhart every Monday at 8/7c on CBS!

And if you missed the pilot… have no fear, because SG isn't going anywhere!
