Someone's ready for the after-parties!

Comedy queen Melissa McCarthy kept it basic in an all black ensemble at the MTV Movie Awards, letting her golden clutch and cluster of necklaces do all the talking for her.

As always, her smile radiates from the West Coast to the East, but we gotta say — a different pair of shoes could have brought this look together for all all-around A-plus.

Why can't you get it right?

While we adore everything she does on-screen, we can't say we're ever truly impressed with her choices in fashion, and unfortunately, tonight at the Oscars is no exception.

Sporting a platinum David Meister gown, Melissa looked a bit "winded" winding down the red carpet with her hubby, Ben Falcone. Did she take a convertible to Hollywood today? Very meh…

You're always a winner in our eyes, Melissa … but we need to get you a new stylist.

Melissa McCarthy looked sparkly and spectacular at the premiere of her new movie Identity Thief in El Lay on Monday night.

The hilarious 42-year-old was hip and modern in her sequined silver top and tapered, iridescent slacks.

And those t-strap heels are HOT!

It's nice to see the actress in something other than an awards show gown.

She rocks this look!

Funny and fabulous!

For a night she is sure to never forget, Best Supporting Actress nominee Melissa McCarthy glided down the Oscar red carpet with confidence in a beautiful rose-colored Marina Rinaldi, accented perfectly by a a pair of chandelier earrings featuring pear-shape white diamonds by Chopard.

Oh! And lest we not forget, the Brian Atwood shoes and bag! Gorge!

Is it the best look we've ever seen her in? No, not really. She's done a lot better in the past. But what she lacks in style, she makes up for in sheer joy! Just look at her face!

Melissa McCarthy seems to be a fan of blue dresses lately. The sexy lady has worked two other blue gowns within the past few weeks.

Just last night she wore another blue number at the 84th Annual Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Melissa finished her look with a burgundy clutch, some sexy black stilettos, and a gold necklace with coordinating earrings.

McCarthy, who already won an Emmy, is nominated for best supporting actress for Bridesmaids.

The thing to love about Melissa McCarthy is that she's consistent with her red carpet choices. She proves time and time again that a woman of any size can be stunning and wear high fashion.

I barely recognized her! If I were Melissa's stylist, I would have put her in a delicious jewel toned strapless and shown off that beautiful body and soul! Something that said, I'm beautiful and I KNOW IT!

Ditch the black and embrace color! Too many plus size women think that black will make them look/feel better, but guess what, it's not! Experiment with jewel tones and challenge yourself to live life more colorfully.
