This is just so sad!
This is just so sad!
It hasn't been very long since Joan Rivers passed away, but the thought of how it all happened is hard to comprehend.
In a sit down with Matt Lauer on the Today show which airs on Monday morning, the 47-year-old believes her mother's death could've been avoided.
"In my opinion, it was 100 percent preventable."
The journalist went on to ask Melissa what she thought the clinic could've done to prevent Joan's death and she responded with:
Can you believe it's been eight months since Joan Rivers passed away?
While her memory lives on in many ways through the legacy she's left behind, Melissa Rivers reveals she tries not to think about how long it has been since her mother passed away from surgery complications.
The 47-year-old told revealed:
"I never let myself imagine life without her. Why would I want to?
So how does she deal with the fact that the legendary comedian isn't around anymore? By writing a book!
In The Book of Joan: Tales of Mirth, Mischief and Manipulation, Melissa pays tribute to her mom by recalling all of their memories together.
How the mighty have fallen!
Despite being E!'s go-to red carpet girl, it seems as though Giuliana Rancic won't be appearing on Fashion Police anytime soon.
That's because the entertainment network announced on Tuesday that it has decided to postpone the upcoming episodes until September!
New episodes were supposed to resume with Giuliana and Brad Goreski as the panel on March 31, but that's no longer the case according to a statement from E!, saying:
Would this count as a fashion faux pas?
We were pretty surprised on Thursday when Kathy Griffin announced that she was quitting Fashion Police… but we're even more surprised by the news that the E! series is going to continue with only two of its hosts!
As you probably know by now, after Giuliana Rancic made those distasteful Zendaya comments, Kelly Osbourne promptly quit over the racist controversy, leaving just G and newbie Brad Goreski on the panel.
And while the future of Melissa Rivers' show seemed bleak, the entertainment network revealed that it has no plans of cancelling the stylish show!
And the responses keep coming!
And while the options for her replacement are already being discussed, at least one person is VERY proud of Kelly for standing up for her friend and making a decision based off of morals and not money!
And unsurprisingly that proud person is her momma Sharon Osbourne!
Here's what she tweeted
Melissa Rivers has something to say!
On Wednesday, the executive producer of Fashion Police wanted to make it known that the show, and especially the late Joan Rivers, has nothing but "love" for Zendaya.
Rivers posted a throwback pic of Z posing with Joan on set and she captioned the sweet pic:
