After releasing two kitty-rific purr-fumes, Katy Perry is expanding her litter of fragrances!

The Kandy Kween has signed a shiny new deal with Coty Inc., which means they'll be in charge of distributing Purr and Meow as well as develop a line of signature fragrances for the Teenage Dreamer.

Coty says that by bringing Katy on board, she'll help "innovate new scents and allow us to explore new avenues of scent creation".

And how could she not? Remember how she tickled concert goers' olfactory nerves during her Teenage Dream tour?

We can't wait to see smell what our KatyCat comes up with!

Wow, that is so funny.

We were waiting for the cats to start meowing or growling or something.

Instead they literally just started whispering softly to each other.

We're not sure if they're actually telling secrets but we can't think of another reason why they'd be whispering instead of speaking at a normal volume.

Cats are mysterious.

Sad…this media darling's weight finally got the best of him.

As reported earlier, Meow, a cat weighing a nearly unBELIEVable 39 pounds, was on his way to purging his bulk after his 87 year old gave him up to a shelter for adoption.

Sadly, Meow has died before he beat his battle with the bulge.

Santa Fe's Animal Shelter & Humane Society director Mary Martin broke the news on Facebook:

I am devastated to share with you that the respiratory distress that Meow was experiencing last week took his life.

Although four different veterinarians worked with Meow, we were unable to stop the progression of what turned out to be pulmonary failure.

Meow's life was cut short at two years old
