Oh no! But who else will put up co-host with Kathie Lee on the fourth hour NOW?!

In light of Ann Curry's inevitable axing from The Today Show, producers have already tried to get Meredith Vieira back in the old post and failed, and despite offering third-hour host Savannah Guthrie the position, we're now hearing that Hoda Kotb is now getting quite a bit of buzz as the potential replacement!

And sadly, it doesn't sound like it was her choice.

We heard that Ann Curry was leaving her position as Matt Lauer's co-anchor on The Today Show, but now sources are suggesting she actually got the boot!

NBC has been looking for a replacement for at least two weeks and even offered a nice, big contract to former Today anchor Meredith Vieira.

As of this week, The Today Show celebrates its 60th anniversary on the air. If we pretend like we could do the math, that's like over 100K hours of television!

An achievement like that deserved a big blow out, which is exactly what it got at the Edison Ballroom in New York City. The biggest names in news were there, many of which are alum of the show over the years. We're talking everyone from Tom Brokaw to Matt Lauer, Ann Curry to Meredith Vieira to the likes of Hugh Downs and Jane Pauley!

Oh, and least us Willard Scott, who's still kicking on the show for over 20 years! Yeah man!

Just because you haven't seen her on TV lately, does not mean Meredith Vieira has thrown in the towel. Quite the opposite, in fact!

It seems many are under the impression that Meredith has retired since she left her job at the Today Show. If they dug a little deeper, they would know that her husband Richard Cohen has secondary-progressive multiple sclerosis, and she has taken time off from work to spend more time with him.

But fear not - her career has not fallen by the waste side. Meredith is still doing gigs as a special correspondent for Today and hosts Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. (That's still on???)

Still, Meredith wants people to understand that even though it might not have been evident before, her career has always come in second to her family. She explains:

After a five year absence, Meredith Vieira returned to the girls of The View.

Vieira came with her husband, Richard Cohen. Cohen is stricken with multiple sclerosis and his cancer is in remission.

Vieira was on her A game and returned Barbara's jabs with some of her own.

Cohen also got in on the fun as well, commenting on how long it took to get his wife out of bed for The Today Show.

The former Today Show host also commented on how Barbara encouraged her to take the job.

She explained that after five grueling years, she wanted to return to her family.

How fun! They always have the best costumes over on The Today Show!

This morning, New York relieved the Royal Wedding as the anchors of Today donned royally special costumes from Kate Middleton and Prince William's big day. Taking on the roles of young newlyweds were Matt Lauer and Ann Curry, with Natalie Morales right behind them dressed as Pippa Middleton, Al Roker as Prince Harry and the return of Meredith Vieira as The Queen!

But as per usual, Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford stole the show as Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, complete with the ugly stepsister hats that have made them so famous!

Well done you guys! Everyone looks awesome!!!

What were they gonna do, fire her?

Yesterday morning, The Today Show said a fond farewell to Meredith Vieira, who said her final "good morning" to her faithful audience just moments ago.

It looks like Meredith brought along her pup Jasper to help her stay strong! How sweet?

Here last show featured video tributes and fans in the plaza with signs up high reading "We'll miss you Meredith." But at the end of the show, the entire cast and crew marched through the NBC offices serenading Meredith with a joyous rendition of "Don't Stop Believing." (click HERE to see the ridiculousness.)

We're so glad Jasper was there to keep her grounded.

Staring today, Ann Curry will sit alongside Matt Lauer as his new, trusted co-host and Meredith will take the next step in her career.
