Then again, there really is no good time to be sued for over $20 million!!
TMZ reports the Lemonade artist has been hit with another lawsuit over her latest album. This time, the songstress is being sued by Anthony Barré AKA Messy Mya's estate for sampling the late New Orleans rapper/Internet personality's voice on her hit track Formation.
According to the docs, Bey apparently never got their permission, and even tried to reach out to her team about it to no avail.
Messy Mya's estate is requesting over $20,000,000 in back royalties and "other damages."
Yikes! And if you've seen the momma of one's Formation video, you would see she paid tribute to the Louisiana city, so it's especially inneresting she would let this slip.
