kornbabe.jpg

Someone's going to rock out with their baby blocks out!

A big hearty congratulations to Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer and Evis Xheneti who have announced they are expecting a child!

Here's what Xheneti said:

"We are so utterly elated to announce that we are expecting our first child due late this fall. We have been dying to share this news with everyone.”

This is the couple's first (but hopefully not last) child together.

They expect the baby to rock-and-roll on out in November of 2012.

Go see the soon-to-be-dad perform with Korn this summer!

William Shatner Is Recording A Heavy Metal Album!!!

Take A Journey With Shatner Through Space

Oh. So. Rad.

Who out there in their right mind doesn't like William Shatner's version of Rocket Man??

And it's THAT fact that will make what Shat's recording next so friggin' fantastic!

Let's be clear:

- WILLIAM SHATNER IS RECORDING A METAL ALBUM.

- There will be huge guests on it.

- All the songs will have to do with "space" or "flying in space."

- We can't wait.

Here's what's being said about potential guests:

Peter Frampton and Mike Inez (who will be playing "Iron Man" with fellow Ozzy alum, Zakk Wylde) are definitely participating and our source claims artists slated to perform include Steve Howe of Yes, Ian Paice of Deep Purple and the god among men, Brian May of Queen. It wouldn't be a space themed album without the space man and his self proclaimed Space Bass, Bootsy Collins!

And of the songs:

"Track list currently includes "Bohemian Rhapsody" (which May will not be playing on-no joke), a Byrds song, "Space Odyssey," "Iron Man," "Learn to Fly" and… wait for it… "SHE BLINDED ME WITH SCIENCE"!."

We feel like our hearts are about to jump out of our chests! This is going to be in-cred-i-ble!

Are U excited for this new Shatner album??

GaGa Talks More About Born This Way!

lady-gaga-talks-more-about-new-album-born-this-way

We are seriously DYING with anticipation!

Lady GaGa once again opened up about her new album, Born This Way, and is calling it her "most innovative" yet!

She explains:

"The album is a marriage of electronic music with major, epic, dare I even say, metal or rock 'n' roll, pop, anthemic style melodies with really sledge-hammering dance beats. It's finished and all, it's just fine-tuning everything. It's kind of like the post-operative stage of the album. I've already done the full heart surgery. I'm just sewing myself back up again. I think that lyrically this album is more poetic. It's really written by the fans, they really wrote it for me because every night they're funneling so much into me. So I wrote it for them. Born This Way is all about my little monsters and me, mother monster."

Metal in there, too, bb?!

If anyone can merge those different sounds together in a successful way, it's YOU. We anticipate greatness!

The World's First Bionic Pussy!

Unbelievable proof of what modern science can do.

Check out this amazing video of Oscar, the world's first bionic cat! Poor little guy lost his legs, but biomedical engineers were able to fit him with metal pegs coated with a bone growth-promoting substance that fused together the metal and bone.

As you can see from the video above, Oscar is able do everything now that all his other cat friends can!

He's so cute! Congratulations on your new legs, bb!
