Oooh, what a beautiful place to be!

We remember when Russell Brand proposed to Katy Perry there.

The Taj Mahal is, without a doubt, one of the coolest sights we can think of seeing. So we just have to share with you this awesome photo of Metallica frontman James Hetfield and his wife Francesca Tomasi in front of the love mecca.

We wanted to make this a romantic photo for their scrapbook, so we took the liberty of masking the faces around them.

Thing got seriously out of control when Metallica canceled their concert in Guragon, India.

Before the show, the band announced that they'd have to postpone due to "failure of a security barricade in front of the stage that could not be adequately repaired."

This did NOT make their fans happy as 25,000 concertgoers rushed to the stage and trashed it, even destroying instruments and causing injuries to some fans.

And now things are looking worse for the band as they will have to issue refunds to all paying customers AND the concert organizers have been arrested on charges of overselling the venue and not telling fans about the cancelations prior to the event.

That's crazy!!! We'd be upset too! Although, by the looks of that barricade, the band was right in that it was completely unsafe.

Kids aged between 8 and 10 years old performed Metallica's Enter Sandman at the Bucklebury Beer Festival.

Should they be performing at a festival dedicated to beer? LOL!

Oh well, these kids are obviously WAY beyond their years because their guitar/bass/drum/singing skillz are amaaaaazing!!

The two kicked-off the world's largest music festival with a big, sparkly bang!!

Katy Perry and her BFF Rihanna rocked the hell outa 100,000 fans last night as they opened the legendary Rock in Rio music festival in Rio de.

Before her performance Saturday, Katy tweeted:

"I'M READY TO ROCK RIO! 100,000 people tonight! I LOVE YOU BRAZIL… You've waited so long for me so tonight I'm gonna give it to you!!!"

Apparently, she didn't disappoint! The California girl delighted the audience's ears and eyes — treating her fans with hit after hit, while dancing around her trademark candy themed set. Katy even gave herself time for a few costume changes!

It's almost as if she was trying to out-preform the night's headliner — her pal RiRi!

But any competitive vibes were lost on Rihanna, who had nothing but love for her fellow pop princess! After her performance, the S&M singer tweeted:

"@katyperry I love you! Had a blast 2nt, missed kickin it witcho CRAY azz"

Sounds like everyone had fun in Brazil last night! And the fun's not over!

Over the next week, Rock in Rio is expected to attract 700,000 peps to see
performances by Lenny Kravitz, Stevie Wonder, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jamiroquai, Metallica, Maroon 5, and Guns N' Roses.

Wow! We can't believe they've been around for so long!

Metallica has been a pretty steady, regular fixture in the rock scene since about 1981, which mark this year as the band's 30th anniversary, and in honor of that, the group has announced that they'll be celebrating by playing four shows this coming December at the Fillmore in San Francisco!
