Rihanna Bares Her Abs And Says Hello With Her Nipples At The Met Gala

met gala 2014 rihanna red carpet

Hold onto your pants, everyone!

Rihanna came to shut things down at the Met Gala tonight as only she knows how!

The Bajan songstress ascended the Metropolitan Museum of Art's steps in a quintessentially RiRi outfit. Hello, her nipples AND nipple ring poked out through her white Stella McCartney crop top!

Crazy! How did Anna Wintour approve of this when she wouldn't give the go-ahead to Madonna's nipply ensemble???

Also, her hair looks like she got electrocuted!

We love ya, girl, but you may have gone too far this time!

Kelly Rowland Is A Brilliant Bombshell At The Winter Ball For Autism

Kelly Rowland wows in a curve-hugging dress at the Winter Ball For Autism.

DAYUM.

Kelly Rowland had everyone checking her out at Monday night’s Winter Ball For Autism held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

And how could you not in a curve-hugging dress like that?!

The newly engaged singer even coupled her seksi Roland Mouret frock with dazzling Lorraine Schwartz jewels to bring even more of the glam factor.

But where’s the engagement ring?!

There's no way it could have possibly clashed with her look so the only other logical explanation was that it was too damn heavy! LOLz!

Kelly's one lucky girl!

Carey Mulligan Is Well-Suited At The Great Gatsby Screening

Carey Mulligan is dapper in a tux at The Great Gatsby screening in NYC

Despite starring in a ridiculously glitzy and glam movie, Carey Mulligan continues to go for demure looks on the red carpet.

But we can't deny that her Lanvin tuxedo at a special screening of The Great Gatsby in NYC on Sunday was truly SUAVE!

The 27-year-old wore the exquisitely tailored suit, which featured pointed shoulders and contrast lapel, very well, styling it with five-inch Brian Atwood heels and Tiffany & Co. jewels.

As has been the case at the past several Gatsby promotional events, Carey kept her hair and makeup look as simple as possible.

There are still a few premieres to get through, including the super glamorous Cannes Film Festival, so maybe she's saving the best for last.

We're more than ready to see her in a decadent gown! Let's hope she delivers!

Check Out A Sneak Peek At The Met's Punk: Chaos To Couture Exhibit!

The Met gives a sneak peek at this years punk themed met gala

We are CRAZY about the upcoming Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit at the Met, and now the museum has given us a sneak peek of what to expect!

So far, we really like what we see!

Drawing inspiration from such rock masters as Patti Smith and Sid Vicious, designers like Riccardo Tisci, Junya Watanabe, Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, Gianni Versace, Helmut Lang, Ann Demeulemeester, Rei Kawakubo and of course, Vivienne Westwood, offer up their interpretations of the irreverent punk aesthetic.

As fab as the exhibit may be, we're even more excited about the Met Gala, and can't wait to see what everyone will be wearing!

Will they dig into designer archives for punky garb or have something custom made?

Will they show up in something cray or look totally polished?

What will Anna Wintour wear?!

So many questions! And we'll have to wait until May 6th to get some answers.

Check out the gallery (below) of what you can expect from fashion's most fabulous ball!

The Met's Prada & Schiaparelli Exhibit Wasn't A Hit

schiaparelli-and-prada-met-exhibit-low-attendance.jpg

That's a wrap!

The Met's Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibit came to a close on Sunday and attendance was wayyyy down.

Compared to last year's record-breaking Alexander McQueen exhibit, which was viewed by more than 661,000 people, only 339,838 came out to see Schiaparelli and Prada.

Even though the McQueen exhibit was extended twice, the numbers are still pretty disappointing, but not exactly surprising either.

Hopefully next year's will be more inneresting.

Online Petition Started To Bring Alexander McQueen Exhibit To UK

mcqueen-savage-beauty-exhibit-breaks-records__opt-1.jpg

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute has had the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibit open for the past few months now.

And the exhibit, which has brought in over half a million people, is now being petitioned to move to the UK.

A new campaign and online petition started by Grazia’s editor states:

“Do you admire the work of Alexander McQueen and wish you had experienced the sell out exhibition honouring his work which just closed at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art? If the answer is yes, then you also probably think it is totally ridiculous that one of Britain's greatest designers was honoured abroad, far far away from the city he was born, raised and educated in.”

A rep from McQueen states they have yet to make any plans but “are thrilled with the obvious appreciation of the exhibition at the Met and are waiting until the end of the exhibition before making any further decisions.'"

What do U think? Where should the exhibit be displayed at next?

McQueen's Retrospective Shatters Records!

mcqueen-savage-beauty-exhibit-breaks-records.jpg

The Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art was a hit — and that's putting it lightly.

During its 3 month run, the retrospective was seen by an astounding 661,509 visitors, making it the most-visited exhibit created by the Costume Institute.

It also earned the title of the 8th most popular exhibit in the Met's 141 year history.

Amazing!
