50 cent takes responsibility for his failed first pitch

At least he's owning up to its awfulness!

50 Cent recently threw one of the worst first pitches in baseball's entire history, and the rapper admits its epic badness was all real and was no publicity stunt!

Although he's still claiming the ball "slipped" out of his hand — so he's not owning his mistake all the way, ha!

Here's what he recently said during a Friday interview with Good Morning America

Jerry Seinfeld Helps Call The Mets Game From The Booth! Watch HERE!

jerry seinfeld mets booth call game

We had no idea that Jerry Seinfeld loved football this much!!

Wait, The Mets are baseball? Well then who are the Falcons? The Browns are still hockey, right??

LOLz!

OF COURSE The Mets are baseball (and loved completely by Jerry, playing a BIG role in his life, especially on Seinfeld), and the booth invited him up to help call the game last night — which is one of the best moves they've ever made!

Not only was he pretty high-larious, he also had a little moment where he supported padded fences/outfield walls, keeping the players' safety in mind!

Now, we just wish they'd hire him full time! Golf can get SO BORING when a comedian isn't in the room!

BASEBALL! We mean baseball!!

Watch the awesome time they had …AFTER THE JUMP!!!

The MaSheen Receives TWO Standing Ovations During 2nd NYC Show!

charlie sheen gets ovations at second nyc show

If only he could be consistent!

Last week, we reported that Charlie Sheen totally BOMBED during his first show at NYC's Radio City Music Hall!

Despite an abysmal first show in New York, it looks like his Sunday night show went better…MUCH better!

Here's what went on during his Sunday night show:

- Sheen received TWO standing ovations from the audience

- He went off script and interacted with the crowd

- Regarding the Friday night show, he said "I don't even think I was here on Friday night. Friday night got a little f***ing hijacked because I let people get into my magic f***ing brain."

- Further emphasized that he'd rejoin Two and a Half Men AND apologized to Chuck Lorre in an effort to get his job back…he also said that Lorre "doesn't completely suck"

- Called Jon Cryer a ROCK STAR and apologized for referring to him as a troll

And here's more of what went on during the show:

- Inside the Actors Studio host James Lipton joined Sheen onstage and asked him what his favorite curse word was, to which Charlie replied "Either f*** or Denise"

- Darryl Strawberry, former NY Mets player, appeared onstage

- Charlie offered to pick up the tab for "winning" tattoos for the entire crowd

- A girl in the audience joined him onstage to audition for a Goddess position

- Charlie noticed a girl he previously dated in the audience, and he hugged & kissed her

Guess we'll see how he fares when his tour hits Boston tomorrow!

Do U think he'll get more standing ovations? Or Will he bob-omb once again???

Met's Owners Thieves Partners With Madoff?

Mets Owners Accused Profiting Off Madoff's Scheme

Good news for Yankee fans!

Huge Mets fan and even bigger crook, Bernie Madoff, may have shared his secrets and profits with the owners of his favorite team.

Irving Picard, guy in charge of investigating the Bernie Madoff ponzi scheme, says the New York Mets baseball team reaped $300 million in profit from the scheme.

In a statement released Friday the Mets owners Fred Wilpon and Saul Katz denied knowing anything about the scheme. They called the lawsuit "strong arm effort" and "flagrant abuse of the trustee's authority."

"The conclusions in the complaint are not supported by the facts. While they may make for good headlines, they are abusive, unfair and untrue. We should not be made victims twice over - the first time by Madoff, and again by the trustee's actions."

Picard's office replied:

"There are thousands of victims of Bernard Madoff's massive Ponzi scheme, Saul Katz is not one of them. Neither is Fred Wilpon. (Wilpon and Katz were among the) largest beneficiaries of Madoff's fraud, reaping hundreds of millions in fictitious profits over Sterling's quarter-century relationship with Madoff."

Hmmmm… even a Mets fan might find that suspicious.

Not to worry, we have a hunch the owners can afford a good lawyer.

ESPN Skewered For Revealing Name Of Rape Accuser

ESPN Skewered For Revealing Name Of Rape Accuser
After revealing the name of the woman who accused New York Mets pitcher Johan Santana of rape, ESPN is being blasted for practicing irresponsible journalism.

John Clune, the woman's attorney who also represented Kobe Bryant’s rape accuser, is irate: "ESPN has now set a dangerous precedent in telling rape victims that this will be their punishment if they attempt to pursue accountability for their celebrity offenders."

He continued:

"Disappointingly, ESPN today chose to publicize the identity of a rape victim on their website, despite the obvious attempt by this woman to protect herself and her children from further unwarranted harassment and abuse in pursuing her only remaining avenue to hold Mr. Santana accountable."

The reason behind the judge’s decision to reveal her name to the public is that it’s wrong to allow a person hide behind anonymity when they make accusations that could ruin people’s lives.

There’s no good way for this case to end up — all we can hope for is that each side is truthful in their case and that a just ruling is made.
