Hipster vocals. Sexy instrumentation. And intriguing lyrics!

Listen To This: All Along The Western Front

We don't often post covers as "Listen To This" selections, but this one is too good!

We all know and love MGMT's breakthrough hit, Electric Feel.

Well, Australian band Crooked Colours has just put their own spin on the bright and bouncy tune and it's dark and it's creepy and it's awesome!

Check it above!

Listen To This: Doing It For The Kids

There is some GREAT new music coming out of Australia!

Like Flume, a recent obsession, fellow Aussies Jagwar Ma are pushing erasing boundaries and exploring different genres and sounds.

Perhaps most sonically akin to MGMT (on their first album) and British brood band Alt J, Jagwar Ma is giving us left-of-center rock with pop influences and a touch of psychedelic.

It's pretty freakin rad!

Check out their awesome tune Uncertainty (above).

Listen To This: A Time For Feeling Discos In The Sand

Filed under: Listen To ThisWynter Gordon

We are loving Wynter Gordon's new music soooo much!

The former dance artist has reimagined herself as a cooler and more credible act, and we are so digging it! There is a real honesty and authenticity that comes across the music!

The songs are all very varied yet still feel cohesive under this new Wynter Gordon umbrella, like Lucky Ones, which reminds us of MGMT meets Solange.

Check it out above!
