Shia LaBeouf knows he fucked up.

The actor really had a go at himself in an apologetic interview for the April issue of Esquire — the first sit-down chat since his "mortifying" 2017 arrest in which he hurled racist expletives at police officers.

Megan Fox Admits Hitting A 'Low Point' After Being Fired From Transformers & Talks Marriage With Brian Austin Green!

Filed under: Film FlickersLove LineMegan FoxCosmo

Megan Fox is super honest about her past!

Megan Fox has thought long and hard about her fall from Transformers fame!

In the December issue of Cosmo UK, the actress recalled being fired from the franchise over an interview where she compared director Michael Bay to Hitler.

Yeah, it didn't go over well, though she's only realized that in hindsight.

Megan admitted:

"That was absolutely the low point of my career. But without – ‘that thing', I wouldn't have learned as quickly as I did. All I had to do was apologize - and I refused. I was so self-righteous at 23, I couldn't see [that] it was for the greater good. I really thought I was Joan of Arc."

When the sequel to Transformers was released in 2011, Bay in fact admitted it was her quote that got her kicked off the third movie. He told GQ Steven Spielberg told him to "fire her."

Responding to it, Megan shared:

Transformers: The Last Knight brought in just $69.1 million from 4,069 theaters across its five day debut at the North American box office this week.

Yikes! That's a franchise low — and it'll put serious doubt on whether the series has a legitimate future beyond this movie.

All good things come to an end… except when it's a lucrative film franchise!

But even in the world of Transformers, the humans and Autobots aren't nearly as tight as they were in the Shia LaBeouf days.

In fact, in the first teaser for Transformers: The Last Knight, the two species are at war — "One flesh, one metal," according to Anthony Hopkins' voiceover narration.

The latest installation of Michael Bay's action franchise features everything from dragons to Nazis to the obligatory Mark Wahlberg-led battle scenes.

However, the biggest threat in the trailer is none other than Optimus Prime, who this time around is NOT fighting for the human side. (OMG, what did he do to Bumblebee!?)

The Last Knight also stars Josh Duhamel, Laura Haddock, Isabella Moner, Stanley Tucci, and John Turturro.

Ch-ch-check out the trailer (below) and catch the film in theaters June 23, 2017.

Can't wait to see the next installment — especially now with Sir Anthony Hopkins!

The legendary actor is all set to join the next Transformers installment with Michael Bay also returning to direct the film.

Quiz: Who Has Won The Most Oscars?!

Movie fans will like to hear that even though the cast for Paramount and Hasbro's next flick is being kept mostly under wraps, it also appears that Mark Wahlberg will also return as the only cast member from Age Of Extinction that is expected to reprise his role.

Really, though, we just can't wait to see Hopkins act in this one — we haven't seen him on screen since Collide, and he's obviously one of the best ever!

Michael Bay Defends His Comments About Kate Beckinsale's Appearance, Saying She Was Just Telling 'A Funny Story'!

Michael Bay wants you to know there's no beef between him and Kate Beckinsale!

Last week, the actress appeared on The Graham Norton Show where she seemingly shaded the Transformers director for telling reporters she "wasn't so attractive" during press for the film Pearl Harbor.

While Beckinsale's comments certainly didn't paint the filmmaker in a positive light — almost bashing him for his way of working with women — Bay released a statement on his website letting everyone know that Kate was totally JK!
