What's a superhero gotta do to join the Avengers!?
That's essentially the motivation behind Peter Parker's web-slinging in the new trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming!
Sony dropped an all new trailer for the upcoming action flick on Tuesday, revealing just how desperate Tom Holland's Spider-Man is to join Iron Man & Co.
How desperate, you ask? Enough to go against Robert Downey Jr.'s wishes to stay out of trouble (LOL, yeah right) and let the professionals handle the new villain in town, The Vulture (Michael Keaton).
After being cautioned by a paternal Tony Stark, Spidey leaps into action to prove his worthiness by knocking out bad guys and attempting to hold a literal sinking ship together with his web powers. You gotta EARN that Infinity War appearance, PP!!
We also see Peter with a classmate who apparently knows his secret identity, a smoking hot Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), and even a quick shot of Zendaya playing a girl who needs saving (Is that you, Mary Jane?).
Ch-ch-check out the action-packed trailer (below) — and catch Spider-Man: Homecoming in theaters July 7!
Spider-Man Is Ready For His Kirsten Dunst Kiss In Leaked Pic Of First Homecoming Poster — Check It Out!
Now that we got our first look at Tom Holland's Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, we're absolutely STOKED to see the new webslinger in his upcoming reboot, Spider-Man: Homecoming!
Sure we already have A TON to look forward to with a killer cast that includes Michael Keaton as bad guy Vulture, Marisa Tomei as the hottest Aunt May EVER, and of course Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark — but now we have our first look at the poster!
The first image of the poster for the superhero flick popped up on Instagram Stories after a user attended Magic Las Vegas — a fashion show that occurred from Aug 15-17.
Not only does Tom look even better than in Civil War, it almost looks like he's getting prepped for that big upside-down kiss! Any takers?
Ch-ch-check out a screenshot of the spectacular pic (below) and let us know your thoughts!
Ugh. Well that's a let-down.
However, it looks like Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton won't be reprising their roles, because it turns out the news was completely fake!
The director's rep revealed that the sequel isn't in development after all!
We know this seems confusing, since the initial report featured a quote from the filmmaker himself. However, the 57-year-old's team says those comments were actually made up!
Bummer! We were so excited. Buuuuut just because it's not in development now doesn't mean a followup will never happen, right?!
We can dream anyway!
Over the years there have been a lot of rumors about Tim Burton's classic spooky comedy Beetlejuice getting a sequel.
Now Burton has dropped a MAJOR update — confirming the sequel is definitely happening!
Tim revealed in an interview with ShowbizSpy:
We can't say we're shocked!
On Saturday, the actors from Spotlight won the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture award at the SAG Awards. AH-Mazing!
We had a feeling the crew from the highly talked about film would win, because they just recently took the Critics' Choice Award for the same prize. Well done!
Still, the competition was pretty tight this year since the group beat out the casts from Beast of No Nation, The Big Short, Straight Outta Compton, and Trumbo. Whoa!
Not to mention, Mark Ruffalo and Michael Keaton's speech on behalf of their castmates was pretty phenomenal too. Be sure to ch-ch-check it out for yourself (above)!
And check out the ongoing winners list HERE!
Holy acting ability, Batfleck!
There have been quite a few actors to play Batman over the years, from Adam West to Michael Keaton to Christian Bale.
In a couple of months though, we're going to be introduced to Ben Affleck's version of the caped crusader in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
While many people loved Bale's take on the caped crusader, Snyder is ABSOLUTELY thrilled with his choice for the Dark Knight!
The 300 director spoke with People about Ben's version of the character saying:
