On Wednesday, it was revealed that former child star Michael Vitar has been charged with assault.
The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office confirms that The Sandlot actor, turned firefighter, has been charged for his involvement in an alleged attack on Halloween that included another firefighter and a neighbor. Yikes!
It's said that Vitar was off-duty during the time of the incident.
Reportedly, the former up-and-comer became upset when a 22-year-old man, who was visiting his grandmother in the area, handed out candy to kids as he walked through the neighborhood. How odd!
Michael and two friends then supposedly chased down the young man, jumped him, and forced him to the ground. Whoa, remember kiddos violence is never the answer!
If convicted, Michael could spend four years in prison. Oh man!
It'll be inneresting to see how this whole thing plays out in court. Stay tuned.
