Our hearts go out to Mike Nichols' family and friends, especially his wife of 26 years, Diane Sawyer.

The legendary director, whose resume includes Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and The Graduate, passed away Wednesday evening of an undisclosed cause.

Besides working in movies, Nichols co-founded the famed comedy troupe, Second City, and stage directed hits like Barefoot in the Park and Death of a Salesman.

Nichols is also one of the few people to have won an Emmy, a Tony, a Grammy and an Oscar.

Wow, how impressive.

We mourn this tremendous loss to the entertainment industry and send our thoughts to Diane during this difficult time.

Keira Knightley And Sam Worthington Bring The Intensity In Last Night Trailer!

Wow! This brings us back to Mike Nichols' 2004 intense drama Closer!

Check out the trailer (above) for Last Night, a seriously intense romance/drama starring Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington, Eva Mendes, and the totally seksi Guillaume Canet.

It's certainly NOT cool to be unfaithful, buuuut we can't blame Keira's character for wanting Guillame Canet.

SO HAWT! We'd love him to be our petit ami (That's French for Boyfriend). LOLz.

Will U check out this movie when it's released? Are U also crushing on Guillaume Canet???

Well, this just has Tony's written all over it!

Mike Nichols announced yesterday that he would be directing the Broadway revival of Death of a Salesman next fall, and Philip Seymour Hoffman would be stepping into the role as Willy Loman!

Although Hoffman is arguably a lot younger than Loman for the majority of the piece, Nichols doesn't seem too deterred, and explains:

“Willy is different ages over the course of the play — young, middle-aged, old — but what matters is finding the right man to play the part. I’m thrilled to be doing this with Phil.”

We're thrilled, too!

There's no way that this will be anything less than spectacular!

What do U think?? Are U excited for a revival of Death of a Salesman??
