A girl's gotta eat, right?!?

Miss America Mallory Hagan recently made an appearance on Anderson Live to defend her new curvier physique, and because she admitted that she likes to eat carbs from time to time, she's NOT apologizing for packing on some pounds!!

The bikini-clad bombshell was spotted in Hawaii with Miss Hawaii Skyler Kamaka earlier this week, and while both women obviously gained weight, Mallory was quick to snub everyone and told guest hosts Tamar Braxton and Jane Velez-Mitchell that she is HUMAN.

Beauty really is on the inside!

Bree Boyce, the recently crowned Miss South Carolina, didn't always look like a beauty queen, but after losing 110 pounds she found out she was destined to be one all along!

The 22-year-old was a heavy girl throughout her entire childhood and reached her heaviest at 17-years-old when she weighed 234 pounds.

After receiving advice from the doctor, she decided to try an Atkins-type diet during which she lost 65 pounds and was even able to win her high school's beauty pageant.

Unfortunately, the diet was just that — a diet — and soon after she had gained it all back. With the help of a nutritionist, a little will power, and a lot of exercise she was finally able to lose it FOR GOOD!

Now she's an absolutely stunning young woman (inside and out) and is on her way to compete in the Miss America competition!

Such an inspiration! This beauty queen's story shows that a healthy lifestyle can be the KEY to becoming the person you've always dreamed of being!

Oh dear! This is no way for a Miss Teen America contestant to act!

Last weekend, Miss Teen Arkansas Megan Burgess was arrested outside her college dorm for public intoxication.

The story we got from a rep at the Miss USA Organization was that Megan was found drunk outside her University of Arkansas dorm. Her RA called the police and when they got to her, she was sitting in the snow all by herself. Sad!

Still, it doesn't sound like the Miss USA Organization will be demanding her crown. Sources at the organization say Megan "is a sweet girl who exemplifies the values of a Miss Teen title holder and is mortified about this."

They added that she even called the organization after her release to apologize for the "shame" she brought the program and her state.

Ah, poor girl. She's allowed to make a few mistakes, right? Besides, it sounds more embarrassing than scandalous. If she's really learned her lesson, we don't see the harm in letting this slide.

What a travesty!

TLC has not renewed their contract with the Miss America Organization even after a pretty impressive showing back in January with the pageant drawing in 4.5 million viewers.

Chairman of the Miss America Organization Sam Haskell explained that TLC was interested in singing a new two-year deal but for less money so he declined. He says 4 other networks both broadcast and cable are interested in taking on the pageant and willing to pay big money for it!

Seriously?

Miss America previously aired on Country Music Television and hasn't been seen on network TV since 2004 on ABC which they dropped due to low ratings. Next year the pageant will celebrate 90 years!

That's a whole lotta years of parading women around in swimsuits and gowns like Barbie dolls fostering female empowerment and awarding scholarships!
