As America says goodbye to Archie in the months, the Phillipines will welcome him with a new TV series!
Before he begins his mission work, David Archuleta has been cast for a television series for TV5, the third largest Filipino network.
TV5's network heads believe the signing of Archie will help build ratings and maybe even move it past other networks in the country.

No surprises here!
Following last night's announcement about Osama Bin Laden's death, we're not shocked to learn that an Osama movie appears to be on its way.
The film is about "the hunt for Osama Bin Laden," and it's being tentatively titled Kill Bin Laden.
The Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow has been in active development on the project, and given last night's news, it's likely to get fast-tracked.
The film is reportedly based on a mission to hunt down and kill Bin Laden when he was reportedly hiding in the mountainous border region between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Certainly a timely project, Kathryn. Good luck…and treat it with care!
