Terminally Ill Little Boy Got To Live Out His Walking Dead Fantasy Thanks To His Local Police Department!

Spencer Holt got to spend his day as a zombie hunter!

Little Spencer Holt loves two things in this world: The Walking Dead and the police!

Unfortunately, the 7-year-old Floridian spends most of his time in and out of hospitals as he battles mitochondrial disease, a terminal disease that attacks the digestive system.

But Spencer got a very special treat when he got a chance to visit the Pasco Sheriff's Office and was deputized for the day!

Knowing his love for zombies, the local law enforcers kept the undead surprises going as several of them did the Thriller dance for him!

And if that wasn't enough, high schoolers from the area spent the day dressed up as zombies and were scattered throughout the jail!

Luckily Spencer was equipped with his trusty NERF gun and helped the cops rid the place of the undead! Somewhere out there, Daryl Dixon is smiling!

Ch-ch-check out the officers shaking their booties to Michael Jackson (below) and some photos from the very special trip (above)!

Patrick Stewart Surprises Fan With A Life Threatening Illness!

patrick stewart surprises fan illness

Sir Patrick Stewart is a knight in shining armor.

Dawn Garrigus, is an avid 11-year old Star Trek fan from Statesboro, Georgia. She also happens to suffer from mitochondrial disease, which is a life threatening illness.

Thanks to the the Make-A-Wish foundation, Dawn was not only able to go to Georgia's Dragon Con, she was able to attend a person meet and greet with THE Captain Picard!

According to Dawn, meeting Patrick was like meeting the captain of the Enterprise himself:

"I was shy at first, not sure what to say or talk about, but he kept talking to me. I felt like I was on the Enterprise talking to the captain. And suddenly, I was OK."

We're glad this stellar (and interstellar) meeting could take place.
