This is kind of tough to watch… but let's be real, it's also kind of funny!

The Kansas City Royals won a baseball series against the Houston Astros on Wednesday night, which means they get to advance to the next round of the MLB playoffs.

Yay! That's a huge deal for their fans and the players! As is custom after important playoff games like this, the players' wives, family members, and children came down to the field to celebrate — and that's when viral Vine stardom was made!

A poor little kid — the child of Royals' player Jason Vargas — was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time when Vargas' teammate Jonny Gomes decided to celebrate the win by swinging another child around in a circle.

The kid swinging in the circle ran into the kid running towards the fun, and just… well… ch-ch-check out the madness from two different angles (below)!

Mother And Son Wanted For Brutally Assaulting A Mets Fan Outside Dodger Stadium

Things got ugly outside Dodger Stadium this weekend.

A New York Mets fan caught a glimpse of the ugly side of the sports world this weekend after an altercation outside Dodger Stadium left him in critical condition — with a part of his skull missing.

The incident took place Friday evening after a playoff matchup between the visiting Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers and reportedly began as a verbal argument that quickly escalated.

Although little is known about the assailants, police believe it was a mother and son working together!

The LAPD are currently searching for a woman in her 40s or 50s and a tall male with blonde hair in his mid to late 20s.

The star pitcher for the New York Yankees announced on Monday that he is leaving the team, effective immediately, to enter a rehab facility for alcohol abuse.

This is prompting an inneresting discussion!

Several Major League Baseball teams have a tradition of hazing their rookie players every year by forcing them to dress up as women for team flights, and now, a powerful LGBT group aligned with pro athletes is calling on that tradition to stop!

Players on the teams — which include the Oakland Athletics, Miami Marlins, Chicago Cubs, and many others — contend that the event is harmless fun designed to lightly haze rookies while promoting team bonding.

Athlete Ally, the LGBT group, sees it differently, and they are worried the cross-dressing players are sending the wrong message to kids.

Over the weekend, St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Carlos Martinez took to Instagram to show his thousands of followers how the team hazes their rookies!

In the (above) pic, the MLB newbies wore skintight speedos to the airport!

Normally we don't condone any kind of harassment or humiliation, but something tells us these studs didn't mind!

The sexy athletes accessorized their banana hammocks with calf-high socks, beanies, and sneakers!

Of course, the Missouri-based sports team aren't the only ones who make their players don crazy get-ups. The L.A. Dodgers and the Minnesota Twins also make their beginners do so as well!
