Brendon Ayanbadejo is a linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens and one of the most outspoken gay rights activists in professional sports.
First, let us say congrats on winning the Super Bowl!!
Second, being a straight pro athlete and "coming out" as a supporter of gay rights must be hard to do.
But Brendon knows that coming out as openly gay would be even harder for a player due to the generally homophobic atmosphere that dominates pro sports.

David Beckham just played his final game earlier this month with the Los Angeles Galaxy, and even though he has "a number of serious proposals," he's not even sweating them!
According to a statement released by Beckham's management company, he "is in no hurry to make a decision," adding:

David Beckham spoke out on rumors that he's planning to move to Australia.
He has said they are NOT true.
He just signed a new two-year contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy but that didn't stop people from whispering when an official at Football (soccer) Federation Australia alleged he was approached by Beckhmam's reps.
A spokesman for D. Becks said:

That was nice of that news station!
They gave this little girl a chance to show that she can actually sing.
If you haven't seen the original video, basically a little girl, Harper Gruzins, sang the Star Spangled Banner at an MLS game in Dallas and really tried to belt out the song.

That's right, Boy Scouts — you've made the wrong decision to shut down equality from entering in your program.
And we thought you were honorable.
So did MLS, but now they've seen your bad side too… and have decided to drop ties.

SO not cool!
Colin Clark, a MLS player on the Houston Dynamo, directed a MAJORLY offensive gay slur at a ball boy during his team's loss to the Seattle Sounders on Friday night.
As you can see in the video above, he runs to the sideline to throw the ball back into play, but when the ball boy rolls the soccer ball at his feet instead of tossing it to him, the midfielder calls the poor guy a

Woohoo! Put that shirt back on, because you ain't goin' anywhere!
On second thought…leave it off. LOLz!
Los Angeles Galaxy fans should be stoked to know that international soccer superstar David Beckham has decided to stay with the MLS team for 2 more years!
He is coming off a championship season with the team in a league that is getting more popular every day, so that probably helped make his decision a little easier. He's also a family man and since his family loves El Lay, he'd hate to make them move, telling sources:
"I've seen firsthand how popular soccer is now in the States and I'm as committed as ever to growing the game here. My family and I are incredibly happy and settled in America and we look forward to spending many more years here."
We're looking forward to it too!
Do U think Beckham and the Galaxy can win another MLS Cup?
