First she wanted her own TV show, now Vera Wang wants to pull a Tom Ford and direct!

The wedding dress designer to the stars revealed her directing ambitions at MOCA's Annual Gala on Saturday, telling The Hollywood Reporter:

"I’m getting ready maybe to make an independent film myself. I’m thinking of maybe picking up a camera [and directing]."

When asked why, Vera gave this classic response:

"Because I can, because I think it's a great time. I think in our fashion shows, we always try to tell a story even though it’s nine or 10 minutes, and to take it to another level with 3 dimension or 4 dimension is kinda groovy."

Yes Vera, 3D and 4D are totes groovy.

She then went on to add:

"I love stories. I love stories about love, about anger, about emotion, about complexity. It might involve fashion, it’s still visual. Probably if I make a film, I would use my own clothes."

Inneresting.

Wonder what else she wants to be when she grows up?
