A Belgian counter-terrorism source has confirmed that Paris terror attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam has been captured alive.
The arrest happened after police conducted a raid on Friday in Brussels that resulted in two suspects in custody, one of which was Abdeslam.
The Belgian federal prosecutor's office said Salah's fingerprints and DNA were both found in an apartment in Brussels that authorities had raided two days earlier that left one person dead and two on the run.
The man who was killed was Mohamed Belkaid, an Algerian man who went by the name Samir Bouzid and is thought to be the person who directed the November 13 Paris attack via phone calls from Belgium.
Salah, who's brother blew himself up after during the Paris attack, was thought to have fled the scene and been hiding out in the raided apartment since the terrible incident.
