That's one special dog!

A dog named Mole will receive the Heroic Mutt Award from PETA after it rescued a man trapped between two boulders.

The dog was walking with its owner when it the mutt began pulling and whining towards something.

Later, Mole's owner found a hiker who had been trapped in the crevice for almost 4-6 days!

Here's what PETA said in a statement:

"Dogs are more than our best friends - as Mole demonstrated, they're our family members, our protectors, and our heroes. PETA hopes that Mole's tenacity and care will inspire anyone looking for a dog to head to an animal shelter - they're full of lovable, wonderful mutts just like Mole."

Luckily the man that Mole found is expected to make a full recovery!

Michelle Monaghan, who revealed how she maintains such a flawless figure in the November issue of Health, also revealed she had a scary run in with skin cancer a few years ago!

She had a mole on the back of her leg, which she would have otherwise thought nothing of if it had not been for her Australian husband, Peter White.

He urged her to have it checked out just in case, so she dropped by the doctors office while on vacation in Australia. As it turned out — he was right!

“In Australia, they’re very aware of skin cancer, " she told the magazine. "I finally went and it was skin cancer. I had quite the chunk taken out of my leg."

Better to be safe than sorry and we are so happy to hear that Michelle is safe!
