As we previously mentioned, Jerry Lawler, semi-retired professional wrestler and WWE announcer, suffered a heart attack during a live broadcast of Monday Night Raw.

He was carried backstage by a medical crew and taken to the hospital.

We were unsure of his status until his ex-wife, Stacy Carter, tweeted:

Just got a @jerrylawler update. He had a stint & a balloon put in. Right now he is still heavily sedated. Will update when I know more

What he most likely had done was had a balloon insert into a clogged artery. It would have been blown up slightly to open up the way for blood, then a "stent" would have been insert.

A stent is a medical tube, in this case usually placed through a clot to allow blood to flow through unhindered.

We hope he pulls though this!

We know how serious a heart attack can be.

During a live taping of WWE's Monday Night Raw, announcer Jerry Lawler had a heart attack!

He had just had a match with Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk. After the match he went back to his seat at the announcer's table and collapsed.

Jerry is semi-retired from wrestling, mostly announcing but occasionally actually competing in the ring.

Clearly, his health is not what it used to be.

Check out the video (above) of his fellow announcer Michael Cole updating the crowd on Jerry's condition.

We wish him nothing but a speedy recovery.

Ooo…that sounds like it hurt.

A doctor has confirmed that WWE Superstar Albert Del Rio tore his groin during a Monday Night Raw match on the 19th, saying:

"We were able to look at an MRI, and it appears as though he has a groin injury that’s severe enough to require surgery. Fortunately for Alberto, the surgery is minimally invasive and the recovery time is usually four to six weeks."

Sorry to hear about the injury, Alberto! Feel better soon!

As if his gigantic stature, ripped muscles, and portrayal of Wolverine in the X-Men films weren't enough to make you NOT ever want to mess with Hugh Jackman, check this out!

While guest hosting WWE Monday Night Raw, the Real Steel star may have accidentally broken a wrestler's jaw!

With what? A steel chair? A table? Nope! His frickin' fist!

During a match between wrestlers Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler, Jackman delivered a planned punch to Ziggler's face behind the referee's back. Although staged, we don't think he meant to hit the guy as hard as he did.

The injured wrestler tweeted to his fans:

"land in Bikini Bottom 9:30 am, MRI scheduled for 1 pm…..possible fractured jaw #thanksBatman … hairline mandibular fracture. Guess i'll put my chipotle in a blender for a few weeks, its not ballet #HEEL > heal … getting a special mouth guard tomorrow, so I will NOT miss any WWE live events!!! #HEEL."

Sources point out this could be the WWE's attempt to play up a moment for publicity, but watch the match above and you can actually HEAR the fist connect with Dolph Ziggler's face. Ouchie!

Hugh Jackman's art really does reflect reality. This guy can kick some ass when he wants to!

Wrestlers have emotions too and The Edge proved it on Monday Night Raw this week when he announced in front of thousands of fans he had no choice, but to retire due to a neck injury.

Watch his emotional farewell to the World Wrestling Entertainment world, which made him a star after winning a record seven World Heavyweight Championships.

Tears crept through that tough exterior as the fans chanted, "Thank you, Edge! Thank you, Edge!"

We're sure wrestling fans will be sad to see him go, but happy to know he will be living a long and happy life after catching the possibly crippling injury before it was too late.

"If you asked me 'Would I do it again?'", he questioned the crowd. "In a heartbeat."

People say wrestling is fake, but The Edge and countless other wrestlers are proof that the pain is real and they put their bodies on the line for our entertainment.

Do U smell what The Rock is cookin'?

Anyone tuning into WWE's Wrestlemania on Sunday April 3rd will, when Dwayne Johnson returns to host the wrestling entertainment event of the year.

The multi-platform superstar sat down for a recent interview where he discussed returning to his roots and what is ahead for him in the wrestling world.

Discussing his reasons for retuning to WWE, the iconic wrestler said:

"I’ve always had a love for live performance. And growing up in the wrestling business, I have a love for entertaining the fans in that way. It’s a very visceral, intense, emotional, entertaining outlet for me. To be able to perform in front of 75,000 people… It’s always inspired me."

Familiar emotions kicked back into high gear while announcing his return to Wrestlemania to fans on Monday Night Raw this past February, as he explained:

"When my music hit, going out…. It was f—ing incredible. That night was the greatest Raw moment I’ve ever experienced. And that’s saying a lot. I’ve had the privilege of working with a lot of icons in the WWE. The goosebumps never left my body during that monologue."

What are fans in store for on April 3rd?

"What you can expect is getting me at my best — microphone in hand, entertaining the audience, taking the 75,000 people on a great ride for four hours, interacting backstage and in the crowd. And on top of all that is the fact that I can take my boot and stick it straight up someone’s ass. And when I’m done with that, I will slap the lips clean off their face."

Sounds like the Rock is back, but is this a permanent thing? The wrestler revealed he's not giving up movies, but hinted he does have more in store for the WWE after his hosting duties at Wrestlemania, saying:

"I’m looking to do something big and special with Vince [McMahon] after Wrestlemania."

Although viewership soared for Snooki's appearance on WWE's Monday Night Raw, not everyone was happy she entered the ring.

Of course by everyone, we mean the only person that matters, Jersey Shore outcast alum Angelina.

Apparently, Angelina is in talks to turn her appearance on TNA Wrestling into a full time gig and thinks Snooki is trying to steal her thunder!

She went as far as to call Snooki "a fat troll who should never wear those shorts … or be in a wrestling ring.”

Woah! That's a little harsh.

Angelina insists that Snooki has been jealous of her since day one, which prompted her decision to get into the ring.

Ha! Right. We're thinking it's the other way around.

We know that TNA isn't as popular as WWE, Angelina, but it's okay, you might possibly, maybe, get to the big leagues some day.

We'd say this is a dispute best settled in the ring, but based on Snooker's moves we saw on Monday night, we wouldn't want Angelina to get hurt! LOLz!
