Wow! Someone thinks very highly of themselves.

Perhaps a bit more than they really should!

Sources have learned that Heidi Montag's mother, Darlene Egelhoff, is trying to carve a nice little piece of the celebrity pie for herself by charging $5000 for speaking engagements!

Times have been tough for Darlene as she recently revealed that she had to close down her family's restaurant due to the economy and has been working as a maid to make ends meet. Still, her asking price seems rather steep, regardless of her financial trouble. When checking into the pricing with a booking agent, it was learned that similar celebs who charge the same fee include Omarosa, Jersey Shore's Angelina, The Salahis, and Kim Zolciak.

Wow! What a motley crew, huh?

Oh, and in case you were actually interested, Darlene's speaking engagements are based on her musings advice she dispenses on her blog, Metamorphosis of a Mother. From it's title, we assume you can derive what's her favorite topic of discussion on the site.

No argument from this corner!

We haven't heard much from Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag since their plans for a divorce folded and they joyously reunited. We would have expected a recommitment ceremony by now or at least some publicized plans to reignite their celebrity.

But sources are reporting that they've been a little busy with other stuff these days - like trying to recoup financially from blowing through $10 million!

Wow! Who knew they had that much?

The couple is telling sources that not only have they been left penniless after throwing money away on homes, cars and Heidi's "music career", but that they are now currently homeless and owe $2 million in taxes. According to them, they are one step away from filling for bankruptcy!

Not good!

Life& Style caught up with the pair and asked them how they could get themselves into such a situation. Spencer, who claims he's "looked into unemployment checks," explains that they were "idiots":

"We were immature, worrying too much about the famous part instead of the actual business part, In hindsight, we shouldn't have spent any of our money. We should have been low-key and saved. We thought The Hills was going to be like [the original] '90210' and we'd have another five to 10 years. The ratings were consistent. But we never saw Jersey Shore coming. Before, TV audiences were fine with seeing us all argue, but now they want you to punch one another in the face and hook up with three different people. Our cast was a bit boring and snoozeworthy in comparison. No wonder we got canceled."

Yes, but as we all recall, you got canned a long time before the show did, Spencer! Just saying!

For now, the pair are living off the kindness of Spencer's parents, living in their guest house and having them go grocery shopping for them. But regardless of their sad situation, shockingly, Speidi knows that it is self-inflicted. Spencer added:

"We don't want sympathy. We did this to ourselves and feel like idiots. But we've grown up and are definitely not as naive anymore."

Time will tell if that is really true. Hopefully, they got paid for this interview at the very least.

We want to feel bad for them, but as they pointed out, they did this to themselves. Plus, they've burned so many bridges along the way that we don't see them rebounding anytime soon. Honestly, it would only take one reality show to bounce them back on their feet, but who the hell is going to hire them?!

Go big or go home, they say!

By now, you know that Steven Spielberg is helming a new futuristic TV drama called Terra Nova. It's not poised to release until next year or possibly even the year after that, but even still, the show is getting a lot of buzz. However, sources are reporting that even though the show has yet to start filming, the show is already $10 million over budget!

Um, say what?!

According to sources, FOX has picked up 13 episodes of the massive show, including a two-hour pilot, which alone is accounting for $20 million to produce!

Wowza! Now figure, that's with only two people making the cast list thus far (Life on Mars' Jason O'Mara and Avatar's Stephen Lang) and not an inch of film in the can. That's insane.

This better be worth the money Steven is throwing down! (Then again, he probably blinks and makes a million dollars, so it might not be such a big deal for him!)

It's the role of his career! He isn't giving up on it!

Daniel Craig is imploring MGM to find a solution to their financial problems so that he can slip into a tuxedo and start pistol whipping people again with his Golden Eye.

In other words, he wants back in playing Bond, James Bond.

In a recent interview, Daniel expressed his frustration with the delay in making another 007 flick, saying:

“Unless MGM can sort themselves out, we can’t make a movie. It’s hard to talk about things that aren’t happening. There will be more to say when things are happening. I’m really keen to get going, it’s as simple as that. And I’m hoping that, in a while, we will…I felt as if we were just getting going and that we’d get the chance to make a couple more. I’d like fulfill the circle with the story. But, yes, there is nothing really to say until whoever gets that house [at MGM] in order. There’s no chance of getting it made until those things are taken care of…I love playing Bond — I don’t want to be away from it for too long.”

And we love you as Bond, but money makes the studio go round and without it, then it becomes a no dice situation!

Hopefully, someone will shake the money tree into their pockets before you have to start collecting social security!

This is pretty sad statement, Hollywood.

After reviewing the payrolls of men versus women in the latest Forbes list of top earning actors in primetime, it was revealed that men make almost three times as much as the ladies do!

No joke! And do they deserve it? HELL NO!

Consider that top dog on the men's team is Charlie Sheen and his 2+million paycheck for Two and Half Men. Last year, he out-earned the ladies leading lass, CSI’s Marg Helgenberger, 3 to 1, when back-end profits were factored in!

3 to 1! Absurd!

Oh wait, there's more!

If you take all the earnings on the men side, their total comes to whopping $308 million.

The women? $162 million

That's almost double!

Wise up, people! We'd much rather watch almost all the women on TV do their thing than Charlie Sheen do ANYTHING! So unfair!

Maybe she shouldn't have canceled her gig interview with Oprah Winfrey. Seems like she needs the $$$.

Oksana Grigorieva reportedly has to borrow $24,000 from her friends in order to pay off a credit card debt. She's been complaining that she has "no money" and despite getting $20,000-a-month from Mel Gibson in child support payments, she's still allegedly buried in $100,000 of debt!

Crazy! Where did that all come from? Her house is rent free and both her baby daddy's are giving her money! (Timothy Dalton also pays her child support for their teenage son.)

Sources explain that besides the checks she gets from Mel and Tim, Oksana has no money of her own, no income coming in to speak of.

Well, she needs to think of something. She has children to think about and there is only so much money a person can "borrow".

Amer Haddadin is the man that owns Nadya Suleman's house and who hasn't seen a dime from her in a very long time! Today, he visited the offices of Octo-Mom's lawyers to announce that he felt his tenant was "hiding money" from him and he wanted her to pay off her debt to him now!

Unfortunately for Amer, he was turned away, being told that her lawyer was "busy" and "had no money today." Unfortunately for the lawyer, now he's got a big mess on his hands as Amer told sources that his credit is in jeopardy because of Octo's negligence and that he is gearing up to "sue all of them."

Uh-oh! Someone needs to start digging into the mattress for some rent money - fast!

Oh, that would have made us do the ultimate happy dance if after all the bullshit Shawn Chapman Holley had the spew to the new judge, Lindsanity still wouldn't have been released because her family didn't have the $$$!

Their is no masking our disappointment that after only half a day in jail on Friday, Lindsay was released back into the cocaine covered wild. A steep asking price of $300,00 was set for her bail and for a moment there, people were doubtful that the Lohan's could rake together that kind of money. A family insider points out that Lindsay hasn't "earned" anything like that since her hair was still naturally red and the family would have considered it a "tragedy" had money become the only obstacle standing in the way of LiLo's freedom.

WRONG! The real "tragedy" is that she got out in the first place before her next hearing! How is this chick every going to learn to be a mildy-functioning adult if she never learns that their are consequences to her actions. She doesn't need a time out - she needs to be effing locked up, tight!
