Sorry, Lindsay, but even a failed order of Magnolia cupcakes couldn't put the L.A. County Coroner's Office on your side!
Tomorrow is Lindsay Lohan's big hearing, and as a last ditch effort to decrease her chances of landing a year behind bars, Lindz requested a letter of recommendation from the morgue.
Apparently she was hoping they'd sing her praises so that the judge would warm up to her, but sources are saying that her request has been all types of shot down!
She better hope that her new risky strategy does the trick!

Risky move, Lindz…but hey! It MIGHT work!
We've just learned that Lindsay Lohan's new strategy for her Wednesday court date is to ADMIT that she violated her probation…and to show the judge that she's finally making things right.
Sources are saying that

And just so you know, she was EARLY! She made sure her publicist let the media know! HA!
We've received official word from Lindsay Lohan's publicist, Steve Honig, that not only did Lindsay report for duty at the morgue today, but she arrived at 6:45AM, substantially early for her community service.
Such an effort. Obviously, she's taking steps to really show she is taking this seriously. We're all convinced now she is a changed person with a respect for the system and commitment to turning her life around.
Thanks for letting us know, gurl! Have fun with the toilets!!!!

We gotta give Lindsay credit. She worked hard at her first day at the morgue.
True, true, she's done WAY more wrongs than rights, but maybe this really, truly is her first step in the right direction.
Despite that whole cupcake debacle, Lindsay really wanted to prove that she is a hard worker by getting down and dirty on her first day.

This is just beyond!
This afternoon, after arriving for her duties extra early, Lindsay Lohan decided to do something nice for the folks she's working with at the El Lay morgue. She popped for lunch, having her assistant bring In-N-Out Burger for the entire staff, and then had cupcakes delivered directly to the morgue from Magnolia Bakery.
So fancy! So generous! So … transparent, which is exactly why Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter had the cupcakes turned away upon delivery! After the treats were sent back, Winter explained to the press:

Well, in all honesty, who WOULDN'T be freaked out by the thought of having to go to jail?
It's a legitimate fear for Lindsay Lohan though because she's been telling close friends and family that she's "fearful" that Judge Stephanie Sautner will send her back to jail.
As we all know by now, Lindsay is due back in court November 2 to determine whether or not she violated terms of her probation and has been ordered to do community service at the morgue.

Uh oh, LiLo!
It looks like Judge Stephanie isn't the only one calling you out, girl!
As we just reported, after arriving at the morgue twenty minutes late, Lindsay's rep claimed it was due to the media and just not knowing where the entrance was. Lindsay's rep also said everything was good to go.
But LA County Asst Chief Coroner Ed Winter says no way that's true:
