Somehow this makes us even more excited to see this film!
Fifty Shades of Grey is due to be released on February 13th, but don't expect to see this flick if you are not of age!
That's because the MPAA has deemed this movie, which stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, to have an R rating.
Which isn't that big of a surprise considering the racy content!

What will be done?!?!
The Motion Picture Association of America are apparently NOT happy with the Sin City: A Dame to Kill For movie's poster, and have actually "disapproved" of the latest one featuring Eva Green and her *ahem* ample bosom.
The poster for the Sin City 2 movie, which comes out on August 22, is causing friction in the MPAA's pants because they consider it "too sexy" and “for nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown".
However, the filmmakers and Dimension Film execs are right now "working on a compromise with the MPAA" and do not seem to be worried over the MPAA's disapproval since this stuff "happens all the time".
One source thinks a compromise will happen sooner rather than later saying

Ridley Scott's highly anticipated prequel of sorts to Alien is hitting theaters on June 8th, but Prometheus still doesn't have a rating yet.
It's currently being decided on by the ratings board, but Fox studio chief Tom Rothman revealed at CinemaCon this week that regardless of what rating the film gets, they ARE NOT cutting a single frame.
It sounds like there is a good chance it will be rated R, but he's not worried about losing out on box office dollars and told the press:

The MPAA and Ridley Scott seem to be at odds over what rating Prometheus should receive.
Ratings are more important than you may think, not just for parents to be able to keep their kids safe, but for the amount of money a film can make.
Ridley Scott was at a recent public screening of Prometheus footage in London and said:

Bully director Lee Hirsch agrees with Harvey Weinstein's decision to release his documentary as unrated.
After much debate, the Weinstein Co. made the harsh decision of keeping the film unrated in order to send the MPAA a message.
