Kate Moss Gets Brainwashed On Oxford Street

Some models have all the fun!

Popular street artist Mr Brainwash has plastered Kate Moss’s beautiful face all over a wall on Oxford Street in London to promote his upcoming exhibition.

The French artist, whose real name is Thierry Guetta, will be debuting new work at The Old Sorting Office on August 5th, and this mural is already has people buzzing.

Kinda odd Mr. Brainwash chose Kate since she's friends with Banksy.

Street Artist Mr. Brainwash Getting Sued Over Run DMC Photograph

Street artist Thierry Guetta, otherwise known as Mr. Brainwash, is being sued by photographer, Glen Friedman, for copyright infringement.

Friedman says that Mr. Brainwash improperly used his photograph of Run DMC, taken in Queens, NY in 1985, and is seeking unspecified damages.

Mr. Brainwash, whose work can be seen in the documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop along with the works of fellow street artist, Banksy, is being accused of using the photograph in several of his artwork without paying any licensing fees.

Friedman's attorney, Douglas Linde, has even gone so far as calling Mr. Brainwash a "blatant plagiarist."

A trial date is set for later this year.

This is a tough one. The artwork is mostly stencil - an actual photograph is not used in the art - but it looks like it still violates infringement laws.

Anne Hathaway's Boyfriend Returns Stolen Art

As we previously mentioned, Anne Hathaway's boyfriend, Adam Shulman, swiped a mural from a Manhattan constructions site on Saturday. But what sets him apart is that he's gave it back!

Shulman called the owner on Tuesday, apologized and returned the artwork.

"I got my art back. I'm happy," said owner Ken Hart, president of H&H Builders.

The mural was located at a renovation on 13th Street and Ninth Avenue, painted on a plywood fence by street artist Mr. Brainwash.

Ha! We'd think he'd have better taste!

And lucky for Adam, the owner is not pressing charges.
