Twelve people are dead and four more remain missing after an avalanche rocked the side of Mount Everest this morning.
The Nepalese guides had traveled ahead of a group of hikers to set ropes into place when the deadly snow disaster suddenly occurred.

We previously mentioned 200 or so climbers were in a traffic jam on Mt. Everest, and several actually died during their descent down the world's tallest mountain.
There was an Israeli man, Ben-Yehuda, who was climbing to the top of the mountain with a Sherpa guide when he came across a Turkish man, Aydin Irmak near the summit.

Very inspirational…but also very dangerous!
We've just learned that Prince Harry is set to climb Mt. Everest this spring, along with members of his soldier-benefiting charity group Walking With the Wounded.
No official statement has been made regarding this epic adventure, although Harry's spokesman has said that his involvement here will "all depend on his Army commitments."
One of Harry's potential climbing buddies, 21-year-old Mollie Hughes, HAS spoken up on the subject. Here's what she had to say about it:
