Oh, yuck! This is just terrible!
Billy Corgan's brother, Jesse Anderson, was reportedly mugged Thursday on Chicago's CTA Red Line, and when he attempted to get his stolen iPod back from one of the thieves, he was punched in the face!
According to Andersen, who suffers from cerebral palsy and Tourette syndrome, a young woman with a group of four males "sat down beside him and snatched his music player."
"I thought, you know, she just wanted to see my iPod but, you know, she wouldn't give it back, so I said, 'give it back to me, give it back to me.'"
When he further pursued the group, he was struck by one of the men in the face.
Check out news footage of the crime (above)!
The Smashing Pumpkins frontman took to Twitter to discuss the HOriffic event, and wrote:
my little brother Jesse was attacked and robbed this morning by 3 men. he's ok, but if you want to send him some love
My brother Jesse just finished an interview with a 2nd tv station about being mugged. The bad guys picked the wrong kid to fuck with!
My brother Jesse asked me to please pass on to everyone that he appreciates the tremendous show of support he has gotten today
Ugh - just despicable!
Seriously - all of that over an effing iPod?! What is wrong with people?
We sincerely hope that Jesse is recovering all right, and the responsible parties are caught, and dealt with accordingly!
