Jack Osbourne Was FIRED Following His MS Diagnosis??

We heard the SUPER sad news last week that Jack Osbourne had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and ever since, Jack's been speaking out about the disease and how it's been affecting him.

Jack recently stopped by his mom Sharon's show, The Talk, to reveal a pretty unfortunate situation that he came across after his diagnosis.

Take a look at the clip (above) to hear about Jack getting FIRED from a job because of his MS!

Talk about ignorant…AND illegal!

MS can potentially be a disabling disease, but people with it are STILL able!

While the news of Jack's diagnosis is devastating, we're glad that he's been able to bring awareness and hopefully help educate others on multiple sclerosis!

To hear Osbourne talk more about the symptoms he's had, as well as explain the disease in his own words, check out the video… AFTER THE JUMP!

Jack Osbourne Diagnosed With Multiple Sclerosis

So sad! This family has already been through so much.

Jack Osbourne, son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Multiple sclerosis is a "disease that affects the central nervous system – the brain and spinal cord – and can cause problems with muscle control and strength, vision, balance, feeling, and thinking."

Jack received the bitter news just two weeks after he and fiancee Lisa brought their beautiful baby girl Pearl into the world. Jack opened up about his shocking diagnosis just this afternoon, saying:

"I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, 'Why now?' I've got a family and that's what's supposed to be the most important thing."

You've got nothing if you don't have your loved ones and your health. Fortunatley for him, the Osbourne family as a pretty impressive track record of beating the odds. Jack is sure to be just like the rest of his fam and come through this with flying colors.

You're in our thoughts, Jack. You and your whole family. Stay strong.

Bravo Has Had Enough Of Real Housewives' Tareq And Michaele Salahi!

wenn2945600jb.jpg

We hate to say it, but it's probably for the best!

These two don't need any more attention than they already have!

Bravo has apparently had enough of Tareq and Michaele Salahi's delusional levels of crazy, and according to insiders, will not be inviting the couple back for the second season of The Real Housewives of D.C.!

Sources explain:

"The DC show is the only show in the entire franchise that isn't a true hit. And the Salahi's are the biggest reason for that. At first, execs thought they struck gold with all the attention the couple got over the White House dinner. But now they realize not all press is good press and this couple's involvement in the show has turned more viewers off than on."

Apparently, the tipping point for Bravo came when the Salahi's attempted to blame them for banning them from speaking about the White House gatecrashing incident, which has been vehemently denied by the network in a statement released yesterday.

They also allegedly refused to attend the Housewives of D.C. launch party, and then hosted a competing party the same night!

WTF is wrong with these people?

A fellow castmate reveals:

"At this point, they are an embarrassment to the 'Housewife' franchise. They are a loose cannon. Now, Michaele has revealed she has multiple sclerosis; next she'll be announcing she is pregnant with triplets to get attention."

Unreal. We truly hope that her announcement regarding the disease yesterday is not fabricated. Anyone who would lie about having something as serious as multiple sclerosis just for press is seriously deranged.

We have a sinking feeling that these two are going to be caught in a lot more lies soon enough!

So fucked up and sad.

Thoughts??

Real Housewives Star Reveals 17 Year Battle With Multiple Sclerosis!

She may be whacky and possibly a little delusional, but we do have to give her credit for speaking so candidly.

The Real Housewives Of D.C. star and White House gatecrasher Michaele Salahi has announced that she has been battling multiple sclerosis - which is an inflammatory disease that affects the central nervous system - for 17 years!

She says:

"This is the first time I've said it publicly. My own family, my cousins, a lot of the people dearest to me - my best friend just found out - it's something I kept personal. I think a lot of people do with chronic illnesses or any type of disease, whether it's heart [disease] or whatever you deal with, you know, breast cancer, so for me, I kept it personal because I never wanted to be judged, never wanted to have pity, and I certainly wanted to hold on to my job. I think we are making strides in America every year but maybe this time with the White House and everything that took place, maybe all this happened for a reason and I can do something good to help someone else."

We certainly hope you do, bb.

We think it's very commendable that you're bringing awareness to such a difficult and sometimes debilitating condition.

Now stop acting like a crazy person on TV so we don't have to rag on you!

Thoughts?? What do U think about Michaele's announcement??

JK Rowling Donates £10 million To Start MS Research Clinic

World-renowned author JK Rowling donated £10 million to fund a multiple sclerosis research clinic at the University of Edinburgh.

Rowling, whose mother died from multiple sclerosis at age 45, says that she is extremely excited about this project.

"I have supported research into the cause and treatment of multiple sclerosis for many years now – but when I first saw the proposal for this clinic, I knew that I had found a project more exciting, more innovative, and, I believe, more likely to succeed in unravelling the mysteries of MS than any other I had read about or been asked to fund."

The clinic will research a range of degenerative neurological conditions and diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntingdon's, and motor neurone disease. She also noted that she is dedicating the clinic to her mother.

"I have just turned 45, the age at which my mother, Anne, died of complications related to her MS. I know that she would rather have had her name on this clinic than on any statue, flower garden or commemorative plaque, so this donation is on her behalf, too, and in gratitude for everything she gave me in her far too short life."

Incredible! Not only is she a wonderful writer, but an extraordinary person!

Does Oprah Discriminate??

oprahwatermarkap.jpg

That's what a former employee of Oprah Winfrey's new network OWN is claiming.

A former assistant is suing the talk show host's company, claiming that she worked in "a hostile work environment" because she suffers from Multiple Sclerosis.

Catherine Dunn says that when she worked as an assistant at OWN in August 2008, she was forced to take a stress leave, as well as a leave of absence when "her MS symptoms were exacerbated because of the workplace stress."

She claims that when she went on the forced stress leave, she was then replaced by a "non-disabled and younger employee." So, now she is suing for wrongful termination and seeks unspecified damages.

Hmm, yet another lawsuit for Oprah. Is the former employee telling the truth or just trying to cash in? What do U think?
