Queen Elizabeth Alisa Dmitrijeva Royal Murder Case Suspects Arrested

Five months after first discovering 17-year-old Alisa Dmitrijeva’s remains at one of Queen Elizabeth’s country estates, British investigators have detained two suspects for questioning.

No charges have been filed as of yet, but officials say the two unnamed men “will be questioned” in connection with the young girl's murder.

It’s always a tragedy when a girl with the brightest of futures never gets her chance to fully shine. Our hearts continue to go out to Alisa’s family.

Hopefully they’ll will find some measure of peace and justice soon.

Joran Van Der Sloot Formally Charged For Stephany Flores Murder

joran van der sloot charged in stepheny flores murder

One step closer to justice!

To recap, Joran van der Sloot is in jail for a first-degree murder charge in the death of Stephany Ramirez Flores, and he is the prime suspect in the Natalee Holloway disappearance case.

Back in April, he was accused of stabbing three fellow inmates in his Peruvian jail, and he "burst out laughing" when he heard the accusations.

Then back in June, Joran appeared in Peruvian court for a hearing regarding the Stephany Flores murder case.

Now, he's been FORMALLY charged with first-degree murder in the Flores case, and Peruvian prosecutors are seeking a 30-year jail sentence and damages of more than $70,000. The trial is expected to begin this October.

As we've said many times before, we absolutely still believe that Joran is a monster, and we truly hope that he is appropriately punished for his horrific crimes.

Peter Jackson Continues To Fund The West Memphis Three!

Peter Jackson Funds West Memphis Three

Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson continues to fund the West Memphis Three investigation even after their release from prison.

While the men are free, they are still technically considered guilty in the books. Like we told you when their freedom happened, they are still allowed to maintain their innocence, but in order to leave prison, they were required to say the state's prosecution had enough evidence to convict them.

Of course, many have believed in their innocence since the 1993 murder case occurred. Furthermore, by allowing the men to go free, it is widely felt the justice system in Arkansas finally came around to their innocence also. Unfortunately, in order to free the men so suddenly, they had to walk lightly around the technicalities of the law.

So what's left to do? Clear

Joran Van Der Sloot In Court Today For Stephany Flores Murder

Filed under: Icky Icky PooLegal Matters

joran van der sloot in court for stephany ramirez flores case

Such a monster! We truly hope he get's exactly what he deserves!

To recap, Joran van der Sloot is in jail for a first-degree murder charge in the death of Stephany Ramirez Flores, and he is the prime suspect in the Natalee Holloway disappearance case.

Last we heard from him back in April, he was accused of stabbing three fellow inmates in his Peruvian jail, and he "burst out laughing" when he heard the accusations. Yuck.

Now, Joran will appear in Peruvian court today for a hearing regarding the Stephany Flores murder case.

According to reports, the hearing involves evidence relating to wallets found at the scene where Flores was found dead.

Looks like prosecutors will explore this evidence first before formal charges are filed against Joran and a trial date is set.

Also looks like he'll have a new lawyer representing him, because his defense attorney Maximo Altex Navarro parted ways with him because they "had differences in strategy" for his defense.

As we've said before, we don't trust Joran one bit, and we still believe he is a monster. Hopefully justice is served and he receives an appropriate punishment for his crimes.

LAPD Closing Ronni Chasen Murder Case

lapd closing ronni chasen murder case

Looks like they can finally close the book on this one.

The LAPD are closing Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen's murder case, now that the final ballistics reports have come in and CONFIRMED that the gun used in Chasen's murder was the same gun that suspect Harold Martin Smith used to kill himself.

According to Beverly Hills police chief David Snowden, the investigation will be formally closed next week.

At this point, investigators believe that Smith was the murderer, and chief Snowden says they have "no additional evidence to review in the case."

Guess this one has been solved…it'd be pretty difficult to argue with the results from those ballistics reports.

Any more thoughts on this case as it comes to a close?
