Brangelina Goes To The Museum To Secretly Wed!

Filed under: Brad PittAngelina JolieLove Line

brad pitt angelina jolie museum date

When you're Brangelina, you might as well have your own museum! The museum of everything! Ha!

Somehow there are still exhibits Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie haven't seen together… like the Lucian Freud exhibit at London's National Portrait Gallery!

The two spent a lovely day-date there Thursday while the chillins rested at home. We're betting Brad was enjoying the exhibit but secretly fantasizing about the amazing helicopter Angie just bought him.

Oooh, you two!! Such specimens of true lurve!!

Sandra And Louis Get Educated At The Museum

sandra-bullock-and-louis-go-to-the-museum-of-modern-art.jpg

Field trip!

Sandra Bullock took her little guy Louis out for a day of culture by making a visit to LACMA, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

The mom and tot browsed through the museum, soaking in all the art before she and the two-year-old dined with a big group of friends at the local spot, Ray's and Stark Bar.

The group of 10-year-olds munched on mac and cheese while the adults ordered some appetizers.

Yummerz!

Seems like such a lovely and educational day of mother-son bonding. Louis is one lucky little boy!

John Travolta To Donate Plane In Honor Of His Late Son

john-travolta-to-donate-jet-in-honor-of-his-late-son-jett.jpg

We'll never forget how shocked we were when we heard the horrible news that John Travolta's 16-year-old son Jett passed away back in 2009.

Three years later, John has made plans to donate one his jet planes to the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame at the Museum of Aviation in honor of his late son.

The 12-passenger, twin engine aircraft will be used on display for an upcoming air show that is planned for April.

That's so touching.

We know that planes mean a lot to John so donating a jet in honor of Jett is probably one of the most loving and symbolic things he can do in his son's honor.

Jett will always be missed.

More Rich People Donating More Money To Nonprofits

Money money

Compared to 2010, more rich people stepped up to the plate in 2011 to give more money to charity.

The twelve BIGGEST gifts from wealthy Americans totaled more than $2.6 billion, while that figure was only $1.3 billion the year before.

Also, (a few) more people are making donations of more than $100 million with ten philanthropists doing so in 2011, while only six could spare the change in 2010.

Donations of $1 million or more in 2011 beat 2010 by nearly $2 billion! In the past year, nonprofits raked in $5.4 billion from million dollar gifts, but only $3.6 billion the previous year.

While most of the recipients of such large donations were educational institutions or museums instead of social efforts to improve the lives of those who have next to nothing, it's still wonderful to see that the super rich are willing to be super nice to organizations they feel deserve it.

Cup Noodles Museum Opens In Japan

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueFood

Cup noodle museum

And believe it or not, it's the SECOND museum dedicated to the microwavable salty snack of choice for poor college students.

The first museum celebrating packaged Ramen inventor Momofuku Ando's vision, the Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum, opened in 1999 and the second will open this Saturday.

While the first celebrates the ability to make noodles instantly, the newest museum will focus on their portability, as it is called the Cup Noodle Museum!

If we had to choose one, we'd stick with the original. Everyone knows Cup Noodles are just an excuse to charge customers 20 extra cents per serving because of the styrofoam cup (which is NOT environmentally friendly, may we add)!

Also, any experienced Ramen noodler knows that they taste best when the water is DRAINED before the flavoring is added to the noodles!

But hey, that's just our opinion! LOLz!

If you're looking to learn all about the history of Mr. Momofuku Ando's invention of Cup Noodles, swing by the museum located just outside of Tokyo in Yokohama.

Attractions include the make-your-own Cup Noodle bar, "the History Cube" and a "Momofuku Theater", which shows CG movies about Ando's life.

James Franco: Actor, Professor, Author, Musician And What Else?

James Franco Art Teacher

James Franco has another title to put on his ever growing resume - art teacher.

James will be guest lecturing master classes at New York City's MOMA PS1 with Milk director, Gus Van Sant.

According to sources, he'll even be assigning homework and screening films for his students!

What else can James get from this besides the ultra-fulfilling feeling of teaching art?

He and Gus will also be showing off an artistic collaboration of their own. The film, My Own Private River, will be showcased in the museum's main theatre.

Ooooh, James. Is there anything you don't want to do? No, really. You wanted to do Breaking Dawn! What do you need, James? What do you need to do next?
