Frozen Continues To Leave The Lion King In The Dust With Its Winning Streak, First At The Box Office & Now THIS

Summer is almost here, but it's still a Frozen tundra on top of the Billboard 200!

For the ninth, nonconsecutive week, the Disney soundtrack is going strong at number one on the music charts!

So far, the album has sold 1.9 million copies since it's first debut and it is a week away from tying with The Lion King for being the number 1 animated film soundtrack.

Frozen is really giving The Lion King a run for their money! First they beat out the roarin' flick for being the number one highest grossing animated film that isn't a sequel, and now this?!

Idina Menzel and Kristin Bell may not be beating Adele anytime soon, but it's certainly knocking out all the other animated competitors!

katy perry owns digital songs debut gif

It's official.

Katy Perry is Roaring her way to even more success, as the first single off her upcoming album Prism debuts at #1 on the Digital Songs chart.

Roar clocked in with an impressive 557,000 downloads in its first full sales week — making it the third biggest digital debut and sixth largest sales week for a digital song in history, as well as Katy's best yet!

Did we mention it's also 2013's best?

These numbers almost triple those of Lady GaGa's, as Applause debuts in the #3 spot with 218,000 downloads, falling just behind Robin Thicke's summer-long smash, Blurred Lines, which still manages its strength at #2. As far as the Hot 100 goes, Katy is #2 behind Robin, while GaGa sits at #6.

Katy's light-transforming new album debuts October 22, and we can only imagine the numbers for the whole package will reflect the mass appeal and beautiful artistry she's shown with her impressive first single.

Watch Out, Kelly Rowland! Eric Church Set For #1 Spot On The Charts This Week!

eric church vs kelly rowland

We absolutely LOVED Kelly's new album, and it sounds like gurl had a fantastic record release party…but none of that's going to stop Eric Church from topping the charts for the week.

The country singer set to end the week with sales of 130-140k for his new album Chief, which should def bring him to #1 on the charts!

Kelly Rowland's new album isn't selling poorly either, but it's looking like it'll end up with somewhere in the vicinity of 70-75k sales for the week.

Third and fourth place are likely to go to
