How peculiar!

HOLY SHIZ!!
We've been anticipating this for SO LONG, and then, in the strangest of places, THE BOMB IS DROPPED!
We are SO EFFING EXCITED!
According to a recently published profile on A&R executive Ron Fair in The Hollywood Reporter, the music producer is working with none other than Darren Criss on his first major label debut album!
The passage reads:

This seems like the next logical step.
Glee's executive music producer, Adam Anders, has been successful at co-producing more than 100 Billboard Hot 100 hits for the Fox show.
And now he's looking to capitalize on his success by building his own record label.
Anders is currently working on albums by Zac Poor and Ben Burgess. His first release will be the self-titled album of singer/dancer/actor Shane Harper from Disney Channel's Good Luck Charlie.
When talking about the direction his record label will take, Anders says:
"I don't believe in putting out a single and then if it doesn't hit, drop the artist. We are here to develop artists — there is no timetable to getting it right."
Agreed! This is what the music industry needs right now. One-hit wonders are fun, but artists need to be nurtured.
Good luck with your label, Adam!

There is no part of that sentence we didn't like!
Multiple sources have confirmed that Britney Spears is back in the studio working on her next album.
Her people have been reaching out to some of her old collaborators and producers to work on her opus. Sean Garrett, whose most recent work will contribute to Bieber Fever, tells sources he is one of the producers that could be featured on Brit-Brit's next record.
He's worked with her before (co-producer/ singer on Toy Soldier from Blackout), but this time around, he is hoping to do more. He explained to sources:
"I'm going into the studio with her. I love Britney. I want to help her grow. I want to do stuff that's going to be able to travel around the world…I really would like to get into her mind and find out what loving Britney is all about…It could get a little freaky."
Nice! And this time around, we don't think she'll disappoint, no matter what direction she takes the next disc!
But she needs to hurry up! We want something new and fresh, like NOW!!!

Why not??
Massive music fan, Johnny Depp, is launching Unison Music, his own record label, and has hired talent scouts to help look for new talent in the UK.
He made the decision after helping British band Babybird produce their new record by supplying the funds for studio time and even played on some of their tracks.
A source says that "Johnny has always been passionate about music. He's taking a really hands-on approach to signing acts. Obviously he can't get to as many gigs as he would like but he's got a good team around him and will personally vet any signings that they make."
Fantastic idea! We can't wait to hear who he lines up!
