Get in the back of the line, honey!

Vanessa Hudgens is the latest star to admit that she's a Gleek and would absolutely LOVE to have a role on the hit Fox musical.

She says:

"I totally would. I'm all for musicals. I love what they are doing. I'm very go with the flow, so if it happens, awesome."

Well, she certainly has the talent and she's already a hit with the tweens, so why not?

We could totally see her in the middle of a Finn/Puck love triangle!

Understandable, especially given how the last few that she's done have bombed!

Mandy Moore recently revealed that she's no longer interested in starring in light-hearted, romantic comedies, because she doesn't find them fulfilling creatively!

She explains:

"I've had fun doing romantic comedies but I just can't anymore. There's nothing fulfilling creatively, there's nowhere to grow, nothing to learn from it or for yourself. I'd rather just be home with my family or write music until that special project comes my way. It was fun to dip my toe in the water (with musicals in Tangled), but I'd like to do the real thing on the big screen. That'd be so much fun."

Nice!

And we DEFINITELY agree that we'd like to see you in features with a little more substance, bb, especially given how FANTASTIC you are in edgier roles - like in Saved and American Dreamz!

Of course - never say never! You could find a romantic comedy that really works, it's just a matter of quality!

Wow! We wonder what set this off!

Last week, three different Broadway musicals reportedly broke their respective theater's records for highest weekly gross, totaling all together a massive $34,997,571!

Wicked, which plays at the Gershwin Theatre, grossed $2,153,110, beating its prior record for the week of November 28th, 2010 and making it the record holder for largest weekly gross in Broadway history!

Meanwhile, The Lion King pulled in $1,993,370 at the Minskoff Theatre, which beat its prior record - also the week of November 28th, 2010.

Lastly, The Phantom of the Opera, which plays at the Majestic Theatre, grossed $1,390,530.53 - its highest weekly gross in 23 years!

Unbelievable!

We imagine a lot of it has to do with the holiday weekend, but we're also thrilled that so many are still interested in going to the theater!

Congratulations, guys! We hope that the money continues to come in!

Ah! She speaks!

Julie Taymor, the director of the extremely accident prone Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, has released the following statement regarding the now-multiple injuries various actors sustained during the troubled production.

She says:

"An accident like this is obviously heartbreaking for our entire team and, of course, to me personally. I am so thankful that Chris is going to be alright and is in great spirits. Nothing is more important than the safety of our 'Spider-Man' family and we'll continue to do everything in our power to protect the cast and crew."

We sincerely hope so, bb.

Hopefully, further precautions can be taken to ensure that something like this will NOT happen again, or anything more serious.

We've gotta hand it to them!

The University of Michigan's production of Me and My Dick debuted at #11 on the Top Cast Albums chart. No other student musical can claim that achievement!

Considering it's sandwiched between the London recording of Phantom of the Opera at #10 and Rock of Ages at #12, it's quite impressive.

"We can't believe the company we're in. So many of our classmates just could not believe this news. Least of all us. We do think the No. 12 (cast album) must be very confused," said A.J. Holmes, who co-wrote the show's music and lyrics.

The show revolves around a "boy with a very special relationship with his very best friend … his Dick! Together they face the trials of growing up, love, sex and high school, but these two best pals are in for the adventure of a lifetime."
