Madonna is NOT going to be happy about this!
Russia's republic of Mordovia has REJECTED a parole application by imprisoned Pussy Riot member Nadezhda Tolokonnikova.
The 23-year-old peaceful protestor— who is only one of two still jailed of the 11 woman punk-rock collective— has been ordered to complete her two year sentence for charges of "hooliganism motivated by religious hatred" following last year's non-violent demonstration.
While Nadezhda has already completed half of her time in the slammer, many in Hollywood AND AROUND THE WORLD are outraged by the decision.
SO why did Judge Lidiya Yakovleva deny the so-called criminal early release to take care of her 5-year-old child??
The court authority said that evidence

One pussy down, two to go!
Yekaterina Samutsevich was just released from prison!
We aren't sure whether to thank our lucky stars one of the unjustly imprisoned Pussy Riot girls was freed or whether to continue feeling outraged that Russia's government continues keeping the majority of Pussy on lockdown!
The judge heard appeals from all three girls convicted of hooliganism after their contentious August concert but, deciding Yekaterina was the least incendiary Pussy member, he only set one of the ladies free!

Just because you jail the protestor doesn't mean the PROTEST is over!
Nor do we think it will be! Not while people's BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS are being stripped from them, anyway!
While three members of Russian punk band Pussy Riot, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Yekaterina Samutsevich, have been sentenced to TWO years in prison for speaking their mind about Vladimir Putin on the altar of Moscow's Christ the Savior Cathedral, the two members of the group who were involved in the protest but not convicted have fled Russia to avoid the prosecution of 'hooliganism'…and are currently

Russian punk band Pussy Riot has just been given a 2-year prison sentence after already serving six months behind bars for protesting Vladimir Putin's oppressive policies at the alter of Moscow's Christ the Savior Cathedral.
Check out the video (above) to see Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Yekaterina Samutsevich perform their
hooliganism song Punk Prayer and let us know if their "crime" is worthy of the punishment they received.
We respect these women so much for standing up for freedom of expression and how they CONTINUE to dissent a government they believe to be corrupt. In her closing statements to the court on August 8, Alyokhina stated:

Such a shame!
The three members of Russian punk band Pussy Riot have been sentenced to TWO years in prison for speaking their mind about Vladimir Putin on the altar of Moscow's Christ the Savior Cathedral.
After already spending six months behind bars, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Yekaterina Samutsevich were found guilty of hooliganism on Friday.
The world isn't taking the verdict lying down though as activists have named August 17 Pussy Riot Global Day. Protests are scheduled in over 60 cities around the world, in which supporters are wearing the girls' signature ski masks to show solidarity.
Check out pics from the protest outside the Russian Embassy in London (below) to be reminded that there are still plenty of people out there who are fighting for their basic human rights like free speech!
