No Joke — Uber Announces Plans To Launch Flying Cars By 2020!!

flying cars los angeles

Uber is ready to take to the sky!

According to Wired, the ride sharing app is eager to launch UberAIR as a way for consumers to combat exhaustive traffic. The company went public with its "flying cars" idea a little over a year ago and, since then, they've become more dedicated to the idea.

So what is UberAIR and what does it entail?? In short, customers would be picked up on the roof of a tall building and would then step into a helicopter hybrid to be whisked away over the standstill of cars. Or, at least, that's the dream.

However, this dream may come into fruition sooner than later as Uber has made deals to run some kind of "air" service in both Dallas and Dubai. Not to mention, the company also announced this week that they want to launch flying cars in Los Angeles by 2020. Oh, and they'd like a real commercial service to be up an running a handful years after the '20 launch. Whoa.

Be sure to ch-ch-check out the company's announcement video for yourself (below).

The truth is out there… and on daytime TV, apparently.

Apollo 15 Astronaut Al Worden stopped by Good Morning Britain on Friday to celebrate space week and discuss his incredible lunar mission in 1971 that saw him orbit the moon for six days.

But the conversation drifted to the dark side of the moon when the anchors asked the 85-year-old the age-old question: does he think there is ~extraterrestrial~ life out there?

Video: Hidden Meanings Behind Your Fave Pop Songs!

Not only did Worden say, unequivocally, that he believes aliens exist — he says that WE (yes, human beings) are actually aliens, too!

Yeesh. Kind of a heavy bomb to drop on morning TV there, Al! See what the anchors had to say to the astronaut's spacey claims (below)!

B.o.B Is Crowdfunding To Launch His Own Satellites So He Can Finally Prove The Earth Is Flat!

no title

B.o.B. is still looking for the curve!

By that, of course, he means the Earth's curve — because home boy is still convinced the world is flat.

So convinced, he's trying to raise NASA-level money to prove his theory, despite already having been disproven by centuries of science (and Neil deGrasse Tyson).

Still determined, the Nothin' on You rapper just created a GoFundMe page with a goal of raising $200,000 to launch "one, if not multiple, satellites as far into space as I can," he said in a video shared to the page.

This administration is so on the nose, they're gonna put political cartoonists out of work!

Mike Pence sent the internet into hyperdrive on Thursday when he visited NASA's Kennedy Space Center and blatantly ignored a safety sign during the tour!

Photo: Donald Trump & Vladimir Putin Have Finally 'Met'!

The Vice President was seen marveling at a piece of critical space flight hardware covered with a sheet of paper clearly stating "DO NOT TOUCH."

But as we all know where the Donald Trump administration stands on unwanted touches, it was no big shock to see Pence totally disregarding the warning and putting his well-manicured hands RIGHT on the piece of hardware:

Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop Called Out By NASA Over Latest Bullshit Product!

Gwyneth Paltrow needs to be more careful about her product endorsements!

The actress' lifestyle blog Goop is known for offering some new age, eye-roll-inducing health advice — but one product promoted by the brand just got exposed by NASA for being a load of B.S.!!

On Goop's site, you can find an endorsement for stickers called Body Vibes, which claimed to use "NASA space suit material" to "rebalance the energy frequency in our bodies." Because if there's one thing astronauts need to worry about in space, it's keeping their chakras balanced.

Sounds like a total scam? We know. But Goop is all about endorsing open-minded products without any cynicism… or research, apparently.

The site claims these Body Vibes "target imbalances" of your body frequency, due to everyday stresses and anxiety, using "the same conductive carbon material NASA uses to line space suits so they can monitor an astronaut's vitals during wear."

Wow, those are some fancy science words — and they name drop NASA! This can't possibly be B.S., right?

Wrong. When asked about the product, a rep from NASA's spacewalk office told Gizmodo that spacesuits aren't even made with this "conductive carbon material lining"!

Even worse, the stickers — which sell as high as $120 for a 24-pack — claim to battle

Hold Up — Did NASA Cut Its Live Feed Right Before A UFO Sighting?? See For Yourself!

no title

Donald Trump is gonna have to build his wall a whole lot higher now…

Conspiracy theorists were given a new reason to believe NASA is covering up proof of extraterrestrial life this week when a UFO was seemingly spotted flying by the International Space Station.

U.K. based believer John Craddick was teaching a friend how to use the NASA live feed last Friday when he spotted an unidentified object appearing to float above the planet.

Craddick said that the feed went dead at around 11:30 p.m. and an "object" appeared about "35 seconds after it came back on."
