NERD NEWS! NASA Scientists Discover Evidence That Saturn's Moon Has A Huge Underground Ocean! Could It POSSIBLY Have Aliens!?!

possible water found on saturn

HOLY MOLY! This is SO cool!!

NASA has announced that they have found evidence that one of Saturn's moons, Enceladus, has a HUGE underground OCEAN on it!

SAY WHAAAAAT!!

Back in 2005, their Cassini space craft saw vapor & ice coming out of the planet, so this caused them to investigate further, and they discovered the evidence!

Since the ocean, ya know, exists, the NASA scientists believe Enceladus could be home to extraterrestrial microbes.

Aka ALIENS?!?! Aka AWESOME!!

While microbes don't really count as aliens like we think of them, it's still an exciting update in the quest through the galaxy!

Who knows, maybe in the near future people will be traveling there to colonize the Milky Way in the name of science! LOLz!!!

Kelly Ripa Looking Out Of This World With Her Kids On Halloween!

kelly ripa astronaut halloween

Get it? 'Out of this world' because she's an astronaut??

LOLz!

That and Kelly Ripa has a ridiculous body for a 43-year-old mother of three! She was spotted in SOHO with her kids, handing out candy and toothbrushes to the paparazzi as they snapped pics (Ha!)!

The NASA jumpsuit she had one was paired with glittering black high heels, a black and silver necklace, and collection of colourful bracelets! Her kids, Joaquin and Lola (10 & 12), looked pret-ty awesome int their costumes as well!

Kelly, after a full day of costume changes where she and her co-host Michael Strahan did the full gambit of pop-culture celeb fads (which you can see HERE), decided on the astronaut get-up because she was Grand Marshal for the annual NYC Halloween Parade, held in downtown Manhattan, and she totally didn't need to repeat anything she had been before!

Plus we're pretty sure she was out of celeb ideas anyway!

Everyone looks so great! We hope your kids got their candy fill!

NASA Launch Photobombed By Frog! See The AH-Mazing Pic Here!

nasa launch frog

Talk about perfect timing! This is seriously a one-in-a-million photograph.

Last week, NASA's Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE) spacecraft blasted off into space!

During liftoff, a photo was captured by one of NASA's remote cameras and it showed something pretty incredible: a frog being launched into the air by the force of the rocket's thrusters.

NASA confirmed the frog photo, saying:

"The photo team confirms the frog. The condition of the frog, however, is uncertain."

Hmm, yeah, we're not sure that frog survived being that close to a rocket blast.

It's theorized that the little froggy was that close to the launch pad because there's a pool of water around the pad used to dampen noise and protect the pad from blast damage.

The frog must've been just hanging out in the water at the wrong time. Poor little froggy…

Still, that's one AH-mazing photo!!

Robert Pattinson's Rover, Come On Over! New Flick Coming Stateside!

therover

Scientific fact: Robert Pattinson's Rover > Mars Rover! Sorry NASA!

Robert Pattinson's first flick after the Twilight series, The Rover, just got picked up by A24 for distribution in the US!

Yay! You hear that, everyone? Now we don't have to re-watch Twilight over and over again to get out R-Patz fix!

The Rover, which filmed over in Australia, features Robert Pattinson as an outlaw in a dystopian future who gets left in the desert by the rest of his gang. Pattinson then joins up Guy Pearce's reclusive character to help him find a stolen car.

So, basically The Rover = Dude Where's My Car + High Plains Drifter? Awesome.

Although no release date is set, we can't wait to see it! The only thing that could brighten a Twi-hard day more is if R-Patz was cast in 50 Shades of Grey!

Starships In The Sky! Endeavor Space Shuttle Stops Productivity In Los Angeles

endeavor space shuttle los angeles

Everyone in El Lay was freaking the eff out!!

People went to their rooftops this afternoon to get the best sighting of the Endeavor space shuttle as it made its zany loop de loop on top of a 747 around Tinsel Town.

The shuttle spent crazy time in space before making its final landing at LAX on Friday — marking the end of NASA's space shuttle program. Sadface!

But what a great finale!!

As Endeavor taxied on in at the United Airlines hangar, one man popped out of the cockpit's roof to wave an American flag while bystanders' emotions began to pour out.

Neil Armstrong Will Be Buried In A Moon Crater At Sea

Neil Armstrong was the first man to explore the moon and after his death, he'll be exploring another great unknown — the depths of the ocean.

Following a public memorial service on Thursday, Sept. 13, the 82-year-old's body will be buried at sea by his family.

While NASA has invited his admirers to pay their respects in person at the Washington National Cathedral or watch the event from home, very
