Fans were outraged when Christina Grimmie was left out of this year's In Memoriam segment at the Emmys.

During the 2016 ceremony, we remembered the TV stars we lost this year, as well as celebs like Muhammad Ali, Natalie Cole, David Bowie, and Prince.

However, the late Voice alum was absent from the montage.

Natalie Cole wanted to share her wealth with more than just her family after she died.

The iconic singer sadly passed away on New Year's Eve from congestive heart failure, and now we're learning a little bit about what she left behind.

Reports are revealing that the R&B artist is leaving a bit of money to two very important friends, Benita Hill and Tamara Engelstein.

Apparently, these lovely ladies were huge support systems for Nat King Cole's daughter as she struggled with Hepatitis C.

But her gal pals aren't the only beneficiaries in the star's will. The Unforgettable performer's son, Robert Yancy, and several other relatives were named.

The legal docs listed Natalie's assets amounted to $1.3 million, and also mentioned that she had a trust with other assets and a confidential amount of cash.

In case you forgot, the music legend passed away at 65 years old back in December after battling a rare lung disease.

A funeral for Grammy award-winning singer Natalie Cole was held Monday in Los Angeles.

Last week it was confirmed that the music legend passed away as a result of heart failure back on New Year's Eve. The singer was 65-years-old at the time of her death.

Members of the This Will Be songstress' family, including her sisters and her son Robert, shared memories of the late star and even read a letter of condolence from President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama.

Angela Bassett, Eddie Levert, Johnny Gill, Rod Stewart and Ledisi were also in attendance.

Robert remembered his mother as his "rock" and thanked her for giving him his faith in Jesus:

We still can't believe Natalie Cole is no longer with us.

On Thursday, it was confirmed that the music legend passed away as a result of heart failure back on New Year's Eve. The singer was 65-years-old at the time of her death. How sad.

It's said that Miz Cole's passing was brought on by idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension, also know as IPAH. The This Will Be singer's family not only revealed the cause of death, but also elaborated that she had a successful kidney transplant back in 2009 and was shortly diagnosed with IPAH after the surgery.

Longtime pal and fellow music legend Smokey Robinson joined in with remembering the This Will Be songstress in a new interview with ET.

Robinson said the two became "instant" friends when initially meeting after the release of her first hit back in 1975:

"Natalie was so cool, she was down to earth."
