Just as we're sure she is! She truly thought she was going to walk away scott-free!

Sources close to Lindsay Lohan have revealed that she is none too pleased about her latest prison sentence for violating her parole, and was absolutely blindsided with the ruling, describing it all as "completely ridiculous" and "fucked up!"

Producer Nathan Folks explains:

"She is angry because she has been working so hard on turning her life around. She didn't do what they said she did. She didn't steal that necklace. She is ready to do her time. She wants to go to A.A. and N.A. and to serve her 400 hours [of community service]. She has already been doing lots of charity work."

We honestly don't know what exactly happened with that effing necklace, and we do genuinely want to see Lindsay succeed, but she was extremely foolish to not even CONSIDER that there was a chance she might not be off the hook, and that jail time was an option.

Here's hoping that this mess will be resolved, and she can get back to focusing on her rehabilitation.

Here is some positive news for Lindsay.

She may have just landed her first post-rehab movie role.

Producer Nathan Folks says that although a contract hasn't been signed, he is sure that Lindsay will not be going to jail in the case of the alleged stolen necklace and hopes to make a deal within the next several weeks.

Folks says, "She wants to do it. She's doing great and we're going to prove to the world that she's back."

He explains the movie, Escaping the Game, that Lindsay would be starring in and what her role would be:

"It's about celebs who become very famous and can't take it. Several fake their own deaths and create a new life for themselves on a remote island. Lohan's role would be as an investigator who is hired to get to the bottom of their disappearances."

And he's confident that LiLo will remain clean and sober and knows he'll be able to get insurance for her to do the film. He adds:

"We can get her insured if she is with someone who is keeping an eye on her 24/7. Lindsay and I've discussed it and she's already agreed to the condition."

The movie will also star Chris Zylka who is also one of the stars of the upcoming film, The Amazing Spider-Man.

In fact, even Lindsay alluded to making a film with him, tweeting:

Went to see my friend @ohferras perform and was talking to a future costar

Hopefully this isn't another bogus movie role that will just fall through. We can't even remember the last time we've seen LiLo on the big screen.

We're calling bullshit on this one!

Despite Lindsanity blowing any chance at getting her career back and being completely un-hirable, some 'producer' named Nathan Folks claims that he's interested in casting the hard-pAArtying wacktress as a Salt-esque former CIA agent in a new project, called Escaping the Game.

He claims:

“From the title alone you can only imagine that this film is right up her alley. We believe that Lindsay is perfect for the role, and because of her experience as a tormented starlet, she is ideal to play the role in this very high concept story. She has what it takes to pull it off. Studios have dealt with this problem for many years; the only difference now is that it’s more public because of the internet. Robert Downey Jr. had problems and he still was able to make films. You hire a full-time assistant that their entire job is to make sure the star does not do any drugs or alcohol during production. You put their salary in an escrow account for the entire duration of the production and when filming is completed to the satisfaction of the producer then you release the funds to the actor. In this situation I am putting up half of the funds for the film and then allowing the investor that puts the second half of the money first out. It is a $10 million dollar film, financed easily, and everyone is happy.”

UH. YEAH RIGHT.

Not only is LiLo NO Robert Downey Jr., but we're pretty sure that this is some shady hack 'producer' using her name to get press for whatever bullshit project he's trying to get off the ground!

This is a huge transition for him! We wonder how he'll fare!

As we've reported, Rob Lowe is branching off from him usual acting ventures to become a "creative partner" at the recently sold Miramax Films!

Lowe says in a statement:

"The acquisition of a classic brand like Miramax is an exciting first step in my partnership with Tom Barrack and Colony Capital. This represents an exciting new chapter for me."

Last week, Disney finalized the deal to sell the company to Tom Barrack and Ronald Tutor of Filmyard Holding, and many have been wondering how the former Brat Pack and Brothers & Sisters star would fit into the equation, and if he has a place with the studio bigwigs!

Producer Nathan Folks seems to think so, and says:

“As a long-time actor, Lowe knows what is crucial in making the difference between a film being ‘superb’ versus just ‘good.' Thus, an actor develops great insight from being where ‘the rubber hits the road’ because he takes into account the production and direction culminated over the years into a final product. Rob will make a great asset to Miramax.”

Matt Atchity of RottenTomatoes.com agrees:

“In the beginning, it’s going to be a lot of introductions with the people he’s working with and the people he knows, trying to get projects started. It’ll be along the lines of introducing writers and producers he knows to directors he knows and vice versa, and just getting people in rooms together and brainstorming."

“He might be reading scripts, or he might be going down to sets. It doesn’t sound like he will be giving up acting so I can’t imagine he will be a steady fixture on sets, but by the same token, he has worked for over 30 years in the industry and he has experience as a successful actor and knows what’s going on, on both television and movie sets. He easily could be down on the set to make sure things are happening correctly.”
