Look, we all know the anti-gay marriage clock is ticking.
We know equality (hey, what a great American concept) will soon prevail over the shrinking cloud of homophobia that rains on its followers.
Regardless, NOM (or National Organization for Marriage) hired Kirk Cameron to preach his infamous views on marriage — that unless it's a straight union, it's destined for doom! (above)
You know we've expressed our views on Kirk's contradictory statements before, the ones that aid in hindering American equality anyways.
But we thought you might like to know what GLAAD thinks about all of this.

Yup. Just as we thought!
We reported back in April that The Miss California USA pageant was being sued by the National Organization for Marriage Group because they claimed that their former spokesperson, Carrie Prejean, had her reputation ruined by the pageant when they deliberately released damaging information about her which ultimately led to losing her crown!
However, a source close to the matter has exclusively informed PerezHilton.com that the court has JUST dismissed the case!
Guess it didn't hold too much merit, seeing as NOM fired HER themselves before even filing the suit!
Smart thinking, guys!
Here's hoping that this can be the end of such a STOOPID mess!

What on Earth?! Why would they even want to get involved back in that mess of lawsuits and countersuits?!
The Miss California USA pageant is reportedly being sued by the National Organization for Marriage Group because they claim that their former spokesperson, Carrie Prejean herself, had her pristine name smeared by the pageant when they deliberately released damaging information about her that ultimately led to her losing her crown!
Of course, this makes absolutely no sense, because NOM fired Carrie's ass themselves for being such a PR disaster!
Why would they want to even involve themselves with that name after everything that went down? Especially with such a shoddy lawsuit!
Stoopid, stoopid, guys!

Oh hell no! Somebody doesn't want to play by the rules!
The National Organization for Marriage, a group that publicly opposes same-sex marriage, is suing the Rhode Island Board of Elections for not allowing them to do whatever the hell they want.
The group is interested in running some campaign ads during the upcoming governor's race. While they won't admit who they are for or against (not that we really need to be told), they do want to ensure they won't have to comply with the state's campaign finance laws. They feel that they should not be "forced to report its expenditures or comply with spending limits or bans that are required for political action committees." NOM doesn't consider itself a PAC, as it isn't controlled by a political candidate, so why should they have to seal with such "burdensome" rules that hinders their free speech.
Um, maybe because what you have to say SUCKS?!
What makes you think you're so effing COOL that you should get all this special treatment? We could only imagine what it is you want to run in these ads that you want everything kept so hush-hush!
This is complete bullshiz! Stop trying to get in the way of giving equal rights to all!
Shut your mouths already!
