And so are we!

Sean Penn has been involved with the reconstruction of Haiti ever since the HUGE earthquake that hit them back in January 2010, and considering that he's the CEO of aid group J/P Haitian Relief Organization, he can't believe how many "extraordinary" changes have happened.

Be Careful Out There! Hurricane Don Headed To Heat-Stricken Texas

hurricane-coming-to-heat-stricken-texas.jpg

As if a heat wave wasn't enough, Texas has another natural disaster to deal with.

Hurricane Don is moving straight across the Gulf of Mexico and will land in the state near Corpus Christi on Friday.

Last week's heat wave brought temperatures in the high 90s and 100s with extreme humidity. It was responsible for 64 deaths in 15 states, including a 10-year-old girl who died from heatstroke. Thousands of livestock have also died from the heat.

The last thing Texas needs right now is a hurricane, which will most likely cause immeasurable damage.

If you live in the area or surrounding areas, please be safe. It's just way too dangerous out there.

General Zod's Michael Shannon's Take Shelter Wins Grand Prize At Cannes!

michael shannon film take shelter wins grand prize at cannes

Things are really looking up for Michael Shannon!

In April, Warner Bros announced that Shannon had been officially cast as General Zod in Superman: Man of Steel!

Now, another film he's starring in, Take Shelter, has been awarded the Grand Prize in the Critics Week competition at Cannes!!!

The film's story is about "a man attempting to protect his family from an impending natural disaster." Sounds intense!

Hopefully Michael's able to save his family in the film! Or at the very least, let's hope he gets to spend his final moments in his loved ones' arms.

Does Take Shelter sound like a film that you'd like to see? Do U think it deserves the Grand Prize at Cannes?
