Talk about girl power!!!

The NCAA Track & Field Championships are going on this week out in Eugene, Oregon, and men and women from college programs all over America have descended on the city in a bid to win national championships in a variety of outdoor track and field events.

And one team in particular — the USC Trojans women's track team, to be exact — refused to be denied as they sought a national championship in the 4×400 meter relay.

Their relay got off to a slow start, and got progressively worse by the time the baton was passed to anchorwoman Kendall Ellis for the final leg of the race. Ellis herself even flubbed the handling of the baton, pushing the Trojans even further behind the pack as the final lap wore on.

But then something incredible happened. Ch-ch-check out the awe-inspiring moment (below)!!!

Sad, sad news.

Lauren Hill, the terminally ill basketball player who wanted nothing more than to play college ball, has passed away.

Lauren got to live out her dream in November when the NCAA moved up Mount St. Joseph University's first game.

Gurl even made a sweet layup!

Though she was not expected to live past December, Lauren was a fighter until the end. She made it all the way until April before finally succumbing to her brain tumor.

Number 22 was just 19.

Miley Cyrus, Hillary Clinton, & More Speak Out Against Indiana's New LGBT Discrimination Law!

no title

Indiana just passed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act after Governor Mike Pence signed it into law, and people are not happy!

Why?

Because the thrust of the new law is that businesses are now legally free to discriminate based on sexual orientation and gender identity as long as they claim their religion is against it.

[ Video: Perez Talking #BoycottDolceGabbana On CNN! ]

But not all businesses want to turn people away based on prejudice. The NCAA and Gen Con have already threatened to lessen their presence or pull out of the state entirely.

Yep, the jocks AND the nerds are against it! LOLz!

But those aren't the only strange bedfellows this deplorable bill is making! Celebs from Miley Cyrus to Hillary Clinton have come out against the law on social media.

This College Basketball Player Isn't Letting Her Brain Tumor Keep Her From Living In The Moment And Playing The Game She Loves

Lauren Hill is making sure she lives every moment like it's her last.

At just 19 years old, Lauren Hill knows all too well that time is precious, and she's making the most of every single second she has left.

It was about a year when the Mount St. Joseph University freshman was feeling a bit off after basketball practice and decided to go see the doctor. That's when they discovered a cancerous tumor in her brain and estimated she only had about 12 months left to live.

However, Lauren has not only managed to stay optimistic throughout the experience, she's also viewing it as an opportunity to teach others to make the most out of every moment we have, because tomorrow is never guaranteed:

Ole Miss Football Fans Raised $75,000 In Just 3 Hours To Fix The Field They JUST Destroyed!

Ole Miss fans wasted no time cleaning up the mess they made this weekend!

If you're not already a believer in southern hospitality, this might change your mind!!

Just like Katy Perry predicted, the Ole Miss Rebels pulled off a HUGE upset this past weekend after beating the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, and much like Miss Perry, the fans went absolutely NUTS!

Unfortunately, all of the celebrating came at a fairly steep price as the goal posts that were destroyed cost about $11,000 each, and the school was fined around $50,000 for the students rushing the field after the game!

NCAA Lifts Penn State's Bowl Ban And Lessens Sanctions Following Jerry Sandusky Child Sex Abuse Scandal, And Here's Why That's Terrible

Filed under: Icky Icky PooZportzLegal MattersSad SadFootballSchool

The NCAA has lifted Penn State\'s bowl ban from the Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal.

It's certainly been a crazy day in the world of football, and none of the news has anything to do with what's happening on the field.

The Baltimore Ravens took a huge step forward and somewhat righted the NFL's wrong by cutting Ray Rice from their roster after disturbing footage was leaked, showing the footballer punching his wife Janay Rice in the face.

Unfortunately, the NCAA took several big steps back as they announced they would lifting Penn State's bowl ban, effective immediately, and giving back all 85 athletic scholarships for the 2015 season.
