This is so precious and heartwarming.

A jail in Lincoln County, Nebraska has adopted 2 cats from the local shelter to help inmates relieve stress while also bringing companionship.

According to Sheriff Jerome Kramer, "The pet therapy helps reduce stress." Even inmate Guy Meyers agrees. He says, "They bring out the soft part in you just like your kids do."

Awww, that's really sweet.

Check out the video (above) and watch how sweet and gentle the inmates are with Nemo and Sarge. The cats seem to be enjoying their new life too.

How terrible!

At Millard South High School Assistant in Omaha, Nebraska, senior Robert Butler Jr. shot Assistant Principal Vicki Kaspar and Principal Curtis Case before police found him dead in his car.

Case is in serious but stable condition, but Kaspar was pronounced dead at Creighton University Medical Center.

Butler, who recently transferred to Millard South in the fall, was the son of an Omaha Police Department detective.

The high school senior posted the following statement on his Facebook page before the shooting:

"Everybody that used to know me, I'm sorry, but Omaha changed me and (expletive) me up and the school I now attend is even worse. You are going to hear about the evil (expletive) I did, but that (expletive) school drove me to this. I want you guys to remember me for who I was before this. I know I greatly affected the lives of the families I ruined, but I'm sorry. Goodbye."

Violence is never the answer! Such a tragedy.
