Cat Hoarder Reveals A Disturbing Kitty Prison In His Basement On Hoarding: Buried Alive!

Filed under: Busted!Sad SadCatAnimal CrueltyReality TV

WARNING: If you have a weak stomach, this video might be a bit difficult to get through.

On an episode of Hoarding: Buried Alive, Cincinnati, Ohio resident John and his son Joe opened the doors to their cluttered home to the cameras, and the scene was absolutely horrific.

While looking through the basement, investigators couldn't help but notice 12 crying cats who were being kept in crates and essentially being forced to live in their own filth.

Despite the poor conditions, John seemed totally oblivious to the distress he was causing to the animals and assured them he was just about to clean their cages.

Luckily, the SPCA made their way to the scene to rescue the kitties, and hopefully they'll help them find a home where they'll be properly taken care of.

Ch-ch-check out the disturbing scene (above)!

owls abandoned harry potter england

So sad to think that so many living things have endured such mistreatment and neglect all at the expense of a fad!

Due to the success of the Harry Potter book series and subsequent film adaptations, many sought out their own pet owls just like the young wizard had, but now that the final movie has been released, hundreds of the birds - which can live up to 20 years - have been abandoned all over England!

Pup-Pourri's Briana (great name) was a champion show dog, used to long grooming sessions, cheering crowds and lots of praise from everyone around her.

But just seven years later she was found living in the streets of Oakland, tangled in chicken wire, her fur covered in dirt.

What Are Factory Farms Trying to Hide… Again??

The answer is animal abuse. They're trying to hide animal abuse.

We're reposting this video we did a while back because it's a very important message.

We previously mentioned that there were bills in several states that were trying to make it illegal to photograph or videotape animal abuse at factory farms!!

This is ridiculous. All those bills were defeated but now a new one has popped up in Utah.

These farms literally want to hide the abuse that goes on in their facilities.

CLICK HERE to help put a stop to this bill and make sure abuse or neglect never goes unreported again!

Rose McGowan Spends Some Time At The Gentle Barn!

Rose McGowan has certainly made some lovely new animal friends!

The actress was recently photographed while she spent the day at The Gentle Barn in Santa Clarita, which is a rescue home for 130 farm animals that have been subjected to severe abuse, neglect, or slaughter, and once they're recovered, they help treat and heal children who also have suffered from abuse!

Ch-ch-check her out with the gorgeous cow Buttercup, who, after losing her own calf at seven months, now nurtures other baby cows rescued by the farm (above)!

Wow.

We're incredibly moved to hear that this place not only helps animals in desperate need of it, but promotes a kind of lovely 'pay it forward' attitude with them - so they can come to the aid of young people and help them heal in ways that might not ordinarily be available to them!

Thank you, Rose, for taking the time to be involved in such an organization and bringing attention to the wonderful things that they do!
