Toddler Shoots Mother In The Back With Father's Gun!

Ugh! This is so heartbreaking and exactly why guns need to be LOCKED UP!

A two-year-old toddler shot and killed his mother after getting a hold of his father's gun in South Florida.

The father frantically called 911 after he tried to take the gun away from his son, resulting in an accidental discharge, which fatally wounded the mother.

The father was not married to the mother and did not live with her at the time of the shooting, which further calls into question WHY there was a gun left carelessly lying around the house in the first place!

Unfortunately with the mother gone, authorities may never know exactly what happened because there are no other witnesses. The police will talk to the toddler, but "due to the age" they're "not expecting to get much."

The father could be facing obvious charges of negligence for leaving a loaded weapon lying around, if not worse.

Police spokeswoman said in a statement:

"This should serve as a reminder to all parents out there to not leave firearms accessible to children. Even if you believe the firearm is not loaded, it's just not smart. It's not safe."

Check out the sad, sad news story above to hear the fathers frantic 911 call after the shooting and PLEASE take all necessary precautions to prevent this from ever happening again!

Do U think this is a case of negligence or could the father have a more sinister responsibility in this poor woman's death?

Sharon Osbourne And Rock Of Love Gal Reach Settlement

sharon osbourne and megan hauserman settle

Way back in March 2009, Rock of Love Charm School contestant Megan Hauserman planned on filing a lawsuit against Sharon Osbourne for battery, negligence, and infliction of emotional distress.

Last week, jury selection had finally begun for the trial, and it looked like neither party was willing to settle.

NOW, it looks like the two were in fact able to reach a settlement on Sunday, but both parties have refused to discuss.

We're glad to hear these two were able to finally work everything out!

Sharon Osbourne Vs. Rock Of Love Gal: Ot's Going To Court!

sharon osbourne vs megan hauserman

Way back in March 2009, we learned that Rock of Love Charm School contestant Megan Hauserman was planning on filing a lawsuit against Sharon Osbourne for battery, negligence, and infliction of emotional distress.

Now, jury selection has begun for the trial, and Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Abraham A. Khan has tried to convince both parties to settle, but to no avail.

Hauserman's lawyer Roderick L. Lindblom says he plans to show the jury video footage from Charm School as evidence.

Here's what he had to say about it:

"You watch this tape, it's pretty horrific. I want to put on evidence and ask a jury to award money."

At this point, it looks like Team Hauserman will be dropping the infliction of emotional distress claim, but they still have every intention of pushing forward with the battery and negligence claims.

Hauserman is claiming that Sharon "hit her, pulled her hair and scratched her," following their insult fest. Osbourne is countersuing because she claims Megan "assumed the risk of injury" by taking part in the show, and that she "breached her part of the agreement by suing."

In her countersuit, Osbourne says that she believes Megan Hauserman started the incident in order to get publicity.

We agree.

…Team Osbourne or Team Hauserman?

Students In Second Grade Class Room Had Oral Sex!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooSad Sad

This is so unbelievably shocking, messed up, and wrong that we feel physically ill.

A second-grade teacher in an Oakland elementary school has been placed on administrative leave after it was discovered that two of his students had engaged in oral sex DURING class last week, and he failed to notice.

Students have also come forward to admit that on a second, separate occasion, he once again didn't realize that various children were taking off articles of clothing in front of him.

The school district, which only just discovered the incidents Wednesday, has begun conducting interviews with his students to verify the report, and while details remain vague, school spokesperson Tony Flint revealed:

"We believe the substance of the story is true."

This is one case where we truly hope that it's not.

Check out a news report on the matter (above).

Too young. Something like this should have NEVER happened, and will probably effect those poor children in ways that they can't even understand yet.

That teacher should never be allowed near kids again, and we hope that this incident is a kick below the belt for everyone in school systems everywhere to PAY ATTENTION. Their influence has the potential to change the lives of young people they guide every day.

Let's hope that it's for the better.

More Disturbing Details Emerge From The MJ Murder Hearing

more-disturbing-details-revealed-during-michael-jackson-murder-hearing

This certainly isn't going to help his case.

As the preliminary hearing against Dr. Conrad Murray for the murder of Michael Jackson continued yesterday, yet more shady details about the day the pop star passed are coming out, thanks to a testimony from a Paramedic and security guard who were both at the scene.

El Lay County Paramedic Richard Senneff took the stand to reveal that when the ambulance arrived at the Jackson home on June 25, 2009, at 12:26pm, the singer appeared already to be quite dead, despite Dr. Murray's claims.

Senneff explains:

"When I picked him up, his legs were quite cool. His eyes were quite dry."

He went on to testify that no pulse was detected, and a heart monitor showed that Jackson had flatlined.

He also asserted that Murray claimed that Jackson had only been given a dose of lorazepam to help him sleep, and had only just collapsed, which Shereff thought "didn't add up."

Even more disturbing, however, is the account from Jackon's former security chief, Faheem Muhammed, that Murray didn't know how to administer CPR properly!

He explained that when he and bodyguard Alberto Alvarez entered the room, they found the doctor crouched down "in a panicked state asking, 'Does anyone know CPR?' I looked at Alberto because we knew Dr. Murray was a heart surgeon, so we were shocked. The way that he asked it is as if he didn't know CPR." and that during the entire ordeal, his boss appeared dead, with his "eyes open and his mouth open, just laying there."

Unbelievable.

The more about this day that comes out, the more horrific and preventable this entire tragedy seems.

Our heart goes out to the Jackson family, whom we're sure must be struggling to endure this entire mess all over again.

This NEEDS to go to trial, and this man needs to be held accountable for his negligence!

Thoughts??

Dennis Quaid Suing Healthcare Company Due To Twins' Overdose

wenn1866570.jpg

Dennis Quaid filed a negligence suit against Baxter Healthcare on Friday. The reason for the lawsuit stems from an incident in 2007 where his newborn twins were given a lethal dosage of the medication Heparin.

Hospital personnel administered 10,000 units of the medication instead of 10. The twins, 2-year-old Zoe and Thomas, are lucky to be alive.

In the legal papers, Quaid alleges that Baxter Healthcare, which manufactures the drug, is responsible for making the dosage information confusing. The labels are said to be a "totally foreseeable and predictable" error and "knowing of the danger of inadvertent mix-up with the dire consequences that could follow, should have taken other steps to warn and to distinguish each of these drugs."

Due to the accident, the damage done to the twins "may be permanent in nature and are likely to cause serious complications in the future."

The Quaids are seeking medical expenses, punitive damages and for Baxter to establish a fund for future medical expenses.

Lots of luck!
