Neil Patrick Harris Chose Money Over His How I Met Your Mother Co-Stars During Negotiations! And He Walked Away With Bank Thanks To It!

neil patrick harris thumbs up

When contract negotiation time comes around on a hit show, sitcom stars often stand together and strike a new deal as a cast, rather than individually.

Like in 2002, when the six stars of Friends famously asked for $1 MILLION an episode each and got what they wanted because of their strength in numbers!

But when the cast of How I Met Your Mother tried to do the same thing, there was one holdout who didn’t have the whole “all for one, one for all” attitude!

Neil Patrick Harris!

He admitted to Howard Stern this morning that when it came time to cut a new contract deal with CBS, he ditched the rest of the gang and ended up getting MORE money!

Scarlett Johansson & Lupita Nyong'o Are In Talks To Star In A Disney Movie TOGETHER! (Do We Have Your Full Attention???)

Scarlett Johansson and Lupita Nyong'o are in talks, or shall we say howls, to be in the Jon Favreau directed Live Action/CG hybrid movie adaptation The Jungle Book!

Lupita is up for the role of Rakcha, a mama wolf who adopts Mowgli. We hope she gets it!

ScarJo is being considered to voice the sneakiest of serpents Kaa who uses hypnotism to eat its prey! Well, Ssssssscarlett already has a a hypnotic voice, so she's such a perfect fit.

As of right now Idris Elba is voicing the ever menacing tiger (that since our childhood still haunts…or, shall we say, hunts our dreams) Shere Khan.

Uh, if no one has cast Baloo yet, might we recommend Tom Hiddleston? He's already got the song Bare Necessities down pat!

Rudyard Kipling would totally approve of this potential casting!

The Boston Beer Company, ya know the ones who brew Sam Adams, have pulled OUT of the annual South Boston St. Patrick's Day parade because the event has refused openly gay participants from marching in the parade!

SO rude!!

The Boston Beer Co. decided to revoke their support because they were called out by a Boston restaurant who vowed they wouldn't serve its beer anymore, which prompted the courageous decision by the company!

They released a statement today that said:

Penn State To Pay $60 million To 26 Men Because Of Jerry Sandusky's Atrocious Ways

jerry sandusky 60 million payout

$60 millions seems like a big number until you realize what it's for — and not a penny of that can bring back what was taken from at least 26 men by Jerry Sandusky's abuse.

The news that Penn State is paying out $60 million to 26 men comes as a way to settle claims of child sexual abuse, after negotiations that lasted almost an entire year.

The 23 deals are fully signed and three are agreements in principle, but that's not the whole end to this awful, awful chapter in Penn State's history — there are another six claims, but it's believed that at least a few of them don't have merit, while there's a possibility that a settlement could come for others after further exploration.

Here's what the University President Rodney Erickson said:
