Christina Ricci Talks Fashion Faux Pas While Looking Pretty For The Edit

Christina Ricci talks fashion in her Edit magazine spread!

Christina Ricci knows exactly how hard it is to grow up in the spotlight — she’s been through it!

In the Modern Romance issue of Edit magazine, she both poses very romantically and opens up about her style difficulties growing up.

The actress attended her very first Cannes Film Festival at age 17 in 1997 wearing an unflattering gown she bought from Barneys, but the then-teen has had a major style evolution since then.

She reminisced about that fateful Cannes outfit, saying:

Summer is officially here and who better than to usher in the hottest season of the year than Miranda Kerr!?

The Aussie supermodel covers The Edit's swimsuit issue wearing an itchy looking Melissa Odabash coverup over a Zimmermann bikini.

Too much clothing if you ask us, but luckily she makes up for it in the rest of the swimwear spread by showing off her bronzed bod in seksi suits from Beth Richards, Shimmi, Marla Hoffman and Karla Colletto.

Oh yeah, there are a couple of other clothed pics too, but we doubt anyone will be stopping to look at those!

Enjoy all the beautiful pics of a bathing suit-clad Mrs. Bloom (below)!

Karl Lagerfeld's Launching Two New Collections

karl-lagerfeld-launching-two-new-collection-karl-and-karl-lagerfeld-paris.jpg

Does this man ever sleep?

Less than two months after launching his Impulse collection at Macy's, Karl Lagerfeld has already moved on to his next projects: launching two women's collections!

The more affordable of the two is the Karl collection, which is described as having a "rock" and "street" vibe. The 100 piece collection features "silvery jeans", black cocktail dresses, fingerless gloves, and detachable collars. Karl debuts on Net-a-Porter.com January 25th with prices ranging from $85 to $415.

The second collection, Karl Lagerfeld Paris, won't be hitting shelves until later next year and will be more "exclusive". The line is targeted at European and Asian retailers and a select few retailers in key fashion cities in the US.

Compared to the masstige line, Karl Lagerfeld Paris are for those with deeper pockets. Prices start at $411 and jump all the way to $3,425.

We can't wait to see what Unkle Karl has come up with!

Will U be buying???

Gwyneth Paltrow Has Some Expensive Taste

gwyn-recommends-spring-looks.jpg

Gwyneth Paltrow seems a bit out of touch with her fans.

The salvia grower took to her GOOP blog to post some great looks she wanted to share.

Gwyn gave readers three different and pricey style options to look at. She wrote:

Spring Basics
In honor of a friend who asked that we make the GET clothing ideas easier to purchase, we teamed up with Net-a-Porter to do just that. Below are some of my picks for spring, great pieces which are versatile enough to wear to the office and during your summer leisure time. Let us know what you think on our new Facebook page!

Love,
gp

Option 1: The Long Jersey Dress
Dressed Up - Wear a long jersey dress with a silk blazer and statement sandals.
Casual - Add a pop of color with a neon tank underneath.

Option 2: The Short Flirty Jacket
Dressed Up - Take a jean skirt to work with high heel sandals, a statement jacket, and a satchel instead of a briefcase.
Casual - The jacket travels poolside with a bright bikini and white jean shorts.

Option 3: The Printed Dress
Dressed Up - Give a flowing printed dress some structure with a menswear-inspired blazer, a boxy purse and a leather belt.
Casual - Mix your prints with a flowered dress, animal-inspired shoes and a striped sweater.

Unfortunately, many people won’t be able to purchase the items she chose. The cheapest piece she recommended was a tank top for $44, while most of the items are over $200.

A Stella McCartney blazer she recommends sells for $2,145. And if you purchased every item she wore or recommended, it would cost you over $18,000!

We’re guessing Gwyn got the point quickly as just two hours after posting the link, someone took to GOOP's Facebook page and added, “We hear you. Look out for fun, affordable clothing options coming your way on fb.”
