Sorry, Critics — Audiences Are LOVING Marvel's Iron Fist Despite Negative Early Reviews! See The Positive Reactions!

Critics and audiences haven't always seen pretentious eye to public eye, and Marvel's Iron Fist is definitive proof that we're living in a very divided TV-viewing nation.

Netflix's latest superhero series got pummeled by critics ahead of its release, with early reviewers taking issue with its unconvincing action and sloppy storytelling.

Series star Finn Jones even commented on the barrage of criticisms, blaming the negative reception on Donald Trump, because people aren't down to root for a "white American billionaire superhero" these days.

But just like the 2016 election, it looks like early polling severely misrepresented the people's opinion — because fans are LOVING Iron Fist now that it's available to stream!

Audiences took to Twitter to show their love for the new series after the release, making it clear they couldn't disagree more with the critics!

We guess the modern audiences can still sympathize with a white American billionaire superhero after all. (Which means Ben Affleck needs to think of a different excuse for when The Batman comes out…)

Amy Schumer thanks the trolls.

Amy Schumer is thankful for all of her devoted haters out there!

Iron Fist Star Blames Donald Trump For Bad Reviews!

OK, obviously we are in no way fans of Donald Trump. But how a TV show is received is one problem we're pretty sure you can't blame on him.

You know, unless he's listed as an executive producer.

But that's just what Finn Jones is doing in reaction to the absolute TROUNCING critics have given Marvel's Iron Fist, Netflix's latest addition to their Defenders lineup (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage).

Defender? More Like OFFENDER! Get A Taste Of The Terrible Reviews For Marvel's Iron Fist!

Marvel is used to great reviews, even for its Netflix shows.

Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage have scored respective percentages of 87, 93, and 96 on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes (presumably because most reviewers only watch the first half of the season, before plots completely fall apart).

But it looks like the House of Ideas' Netflix wing (which, it should be noted, is completely separate from the movie studio) is facing its first big critical flop!

Gilmore Girls May Get ANOTHER Reboot!

more gilmore girls may be on the way

We guess those final four words weren't so final.

As you may recall, back in November, Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel reprised their roles as the fast-talking mother-daughter duo for Netflix's reboot of the Gilmore Girls. At the time, there was a lot of press surrounding the last four words of the show — which is how the creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, wanted to wrap up the entire series.

However, according to Netflix's Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos, more Gilmore Girls episodes may be on the way. In fact, while chatting with the UK's Press Association, Sarandos noted that the talks are "very preliminary" when discussing the future of GG. Hmmm, very inneresting.
